"The hostile creatures roaming throughout our realm have undergone a transformation; they seem to be more intelligent, more aware of their surroundings, and perhaps most importantly - they may be puppets of a higher force. I can't help but assume that there is a greater evil that is seeping through from Aegis into the lands of Asulon; we must prepare for the worst, because we will have to endure the fires of hell if we hope to keep our friends and homes safe from these devastating and seemingly-educated demons. The source of this magic must be sought out."
(( Pig Zombies will now actively seek out players within 200 blocks of their location. They will target and go after the closest player they can find. It should also be noted that since Pig Zombies are slain by the sun at daybreak, they are only a threat at night; traveling during the day is still safe.))
This isn't a gameplay patch, just a few small changes to mob mechanics in our server.
- All mobs, when spawned, have a chance to have an additional 1-20HP (20HP = 10 hearts) of HP.
- All damage events from mobs have a chance to do either an additional 4 DMG (2 hearts) OR up to 4 DMG (2 hearts) debuff to the damage event. (+ or - 4)
- All base damage has been nerfed by 4 DMG as well, so the most DMG a single hit will do to you has not increased.
- Fixed PigZombies sometimes surviving through day.
Fixed wolf and ocelot spawns.
Pig Zombies now actively seek out and hunt players.
Rewrote the plugin we use to change mob behavior on our server.
What we wanted to get accomplished with this small update was to give PvE a new twist by adding randomized mechanics to encounters. (HP / DMG).
