    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using info heard outside of the roleplay. Such as a player hears that a certain village is being raided out of character and then when they log on they rush over to the village.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Carrying out unrealistic actions that pretty much make your character invincible

I would step forward and reply “Why I’m just trying to elevate my place in the world so that I might better myself. Would you be so kind as to point me in the direction of the nearest establishment that might be able to provide a hot meal and a bed for the night.” After speaking with the man I would head towards an establishment he recommended and book a room for the night. Following that I might head to the market to restock on supplies.
