    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is using information that your character did not acquire in-game. For example, if I used information from a wiki to make my character knowledgable about something she hadn't experienced, that would be meta-gaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming is playing a character who is unrealistically strong in any sphere or failing to adhere to rules/traits. In short, it's acting like a god. Forcing a win in a fight would be power-gaming.
