    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Taking out of character knowledge and using it ingame. Either it be idle chatter or to gain an advantage. Nulling the separation of IC/OOC
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Having your character force actions on other players characters. Or have thier own actions unable to be interupted, stopped, etc. Making them all powerful and unbeatable

The scar and tattooed man casted his gaze on the rather welcoming merchant. Offering a bow of his head before speaking in a gruff and firm voice. “Afternoon.” His eyes wandered around for a moment to the various merchants, travelers and citizens alike going about their day as he listened to the merchant speak. “Although I must say, Adventure ‘n wealth sound like a howlin’ good time to pursue. Nay, I be searchin’ fer an ol’friend so to say. I know where to find his sorry hide. Although I have not stepped foot in this city before.”

Scratching his beard with a single digit he looked around once more, honestly looking lost before he spoke again. “The Drownin’ Sailor is a tavern here, aye? Can ya point me in the right direction?” With his question asked, he would be on his way, with or without the gentlemen aid.
