    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information that you gathered while out of character, in character. The human controlling the character knows this info, the character they are playing doesn't and must learn it in a natural way.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Role-playing in such a way that you are forcing absolutes on other players such as forced permadeath or giving certain characters unrealistic agility, strength, etc. Generally making your character some sort of god-like being.

The man drops his smile and hurriedly points Grunur down a busy main street.

 

Grunur finishes losing his breakfast to the ground and gathers his rucksack before heading in the direction he was given.
