    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using knowledge acquired out of character as in roleplay knowledge when your character shouldn’t know about it.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Making your character overly powerful or able to do things that they otherwise should not be able to do, like dodging clearly direct hits. It can also mean forcing an act upon someone else’s character without their consent or forcing that person’s character to react a certain way.

Elysia stepped off the boat and was immediately enamored by the bustling bazaar. Her first immediate thought was to head right over to one of the stalls and take a look at what was being sold, at least that was until she was greeted by a local. She turned to face the man and answered his questions as he seemed like a friendly face. Besides, she wouldn’t want to start off with a bad impression in a new city so she was careful with her words, “Oh, um, well I’m really looking for a place to call a home of my own at the moment. Maybe open my own shop or work my way up here eventually…”
