Unexpected- This is the one and single word that you could use to properly describe this meeting. Why would anyone try to approach him, out of all the people, here, out of all the places, and now, out of all other possible times? He cared not. He wished not to know. Who was he- Another man who preys on the weak, another fake merchant who tries to persuade the less-knowledgable to give up their riches in the name of religion, in the name of false Gods, in the name of salvation, that would never come? Or was he one of those who promises the greatness of useless baubles, boldly called described as “healing”, or “miraculous” shards of a sacred place?
He cared not. He wished not to know.
The blank, almost lifeless stare of the shrouded by steel man would soon focus on the “gentleman”, before a gravely, throatly, and incredibly deep voice would resonate from inside; it would ring out and echo, as if he suffered a bad injure to his neck, and therefore, the vocal cords. It was a sharp, serious response, that would probably be considered as rude in higher places.. Or perhaps even here, in this place.
“Purpose.”
A shrug of plates shoulders would be visible as they respond. They would walk besides the man with no further input, opting to get to their destination at once. Their mind wasn’t going to bother with such tiny things, with useless memories like the one of that man.
He cared not.
All that remained is a soft clatter of metallic plates, one that grew more and more quiet, the bigger the distance between the two men was.
