You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Farron stands for a moment, stunned, but obliges and sits on the cushion after glancing around a bit more. "My name is Farron Merce, and I'm afraid there is not much of a story to tell. In my earlier life, I was a farmer, but I wished for much more, seeing knights and adventurers pass through, I became highly intrigued with all the glory and excitement of a traveler's life. Once I was old enough, and had the funds, I set off, now an adventurer. I suppose the only neat thing I can claim is I collect curiosities, such as stones with magical properties. and that I can't swim but, ignore that one." He lets out a small laugh, to ease the tension of being in a stranger's home, or, more accurately, tent.
