    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the use of your own knowledge as if it were your character's, such as 'discovering' a secret region because you know where it is on the dynmap.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is writing out emotes with definitive results without allowing other roleplayers to counter/resist when they reasonably would be able to.

"Hail," the youth responded with an expression mirroring the stranger's, though his voice was perhaps not as loud; the grandeur of the city was daunting. Realising he was outdressed by the gentleman, Eliseo dusted off his attire with a hand, in an vain attempt to make himself more presentable. "All of that, really. Seems to me they all come hand in hand." The elf's gaze did not linger on him long, inclined to wander about the marketplace's many eye-catching sights. Then, a thought occurring to him, he focused on the gentleman again. "Why do you ask?"
