    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using information gained without roleplay to effect roleplay
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is just being too op. Doing actions that are unrealistic and forcing others to do a action that will benefit you in crp.

Looking at the well-dressed man Arthur would yawn and rub his eye “uhh I am here for a bit of all there I guess but first I would like to found a warm meal, would you be so kind to point me in a direction of a tavern or some food”  

 

Arthur brushing the man aside would start walking off  in a direction away from the man. If the well-dressed man kept talking Arthur would ignore him and continue walking. Reaching a tavern he would sit down at a table and order food. After the food came to him he would start eating it.
