    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: when you give information about the "In game world", out of character and out of game to another player, in order to benefit them.

    Fx. John tells his friend, Michael, on discord, while he's playing Fortnite, "Yo Michael our base is getting raided by Goblins, get on right not". So then Michael knows about the raid without his character being able to know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: when you do something in game that wouldn't be possible in real life, or is way too unrealistic. Or when you try to control other players fate.

    Fx. If you're playing GTA FiveM and you do crazy flips with your car which is very unrealistic. Or when you say "John stabs Michael with a sharp knife, giving him a deep wound", which doesn't give Michael a choice. Instead you can say "John attempts to stab Michael with a sharp knife, giving him a deep wound". Here you give Michael a choice to control his own fate.

"I've learnt a lot of potato-farming skills from my dad, and I'm super excited to get started on my own potato business! You look quite like a business man, what do you do?", Janse asks.
