    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use out of character information in character. For example, if you see someone's name above their head and then automatically assume you know their name despite never meeting said person, this is metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is a broad rule with a few different definitions. The first of which would be performing acts that are not humanely possible, such as roleplaying picking up someone and launching them 100ft in the air. Another case of powergaming is forcing roleplay upon others without giving them a fair chance. Other not so common cases of powergaming include making things up which did not actually occur in order to benefit yourself.
