"One of those, I suppose. Who are you, if I may ask?" Robert, folding his arms and raising your brow, inquires from the gentleman. "Oh, I am just trying to gauge what kind of adventurer you are, my friend, " the now jovial gentlemen states. "I do not know yet what I am here for, but I am here nonetheless. Where's the nearest tavern?" Robert asks of the man, who is now fidgeting with what appears to be his belt. He suddenly exclaims, "Yes, of course you're here for the fine brewery! It's straight down that street, sir," he points to the street swarming with citizens like busy bees in a hive. Robert thanks the gentleman and continues on his way to the tavern for another day to empty this purse to drown his worries.

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using out-of-character context that you would never normally know to perform actions that you should not have known about.
For example: You see that a player's name is "Blank" but you would not go up to them and say, "Hello, Blank," because you don't know them

How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Giving your character disproportionate amounts of power and abilities that seem to be ranging from godlike in nature to general annoyances that should not be possible.
e.g. "I run up to the walls and using my sheer brute strength, climb up the giant stone wall with no assist. Just my bare hands."
