    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is to me, kind of a "failed rp". Basically it consists of the use of information acquired (in a non-rp context) in an rp context.
    Example: One of my buddies tells me in discord that his village is being raided, then I proceed to join the server and run to his village to help him out (which is Metagaming because he didn't tell my "in game" character about the raid but me as a person).
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming means the carrying out of unrealistic actions, that are lore-breaking and unfair for other players. This may include the character having over-powered traits and invincibility. By over-powered traits I mean for example being immune to magic or to any kind of damage.
