    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information that your roleplay character doesn't know to your advantage. This would be information you acquired out of character. Example: Your friend tells you that their character is preparing a secret raid on your character and you then have your character prepare for the raid even though there is no way they could've known about the raid.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you make your character act godly, do unrealistic things and control situations and other people's characters. Example: While in roleplay you say: *Character A stabs character B in the throat and watches as they bleed out and die* This is an example of powergaming as the person playing character A decided what would happen to character b without the other persons input.
