    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Taking OOG knowledge and using it IG. Metagaming = bad. E.G. the friend refers me tells me exactly what to do to learn magic and I do it with my char without IG interactions with my friend.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Creating a character that is unbeatable or invincible. Trying to force others to RP in a specific way by the way you word your own RP. Never letting your character suffer consequences. That sort of thing.

One Eye examines the odd human with no small amount of suspicion. He gestures over his shoulder, "That boat." With that terse answer he continues walking.

After taking three more steps One Eye sighs. He recalls the annoying humans from his previous world and thinks those here are the same. "I look for clan." He gestures to his bloodshot and chronically red eye. "Blood Eye Clan. But me think they not here." He looks around the area then back, the expression clearly communicating the clan was not in the immediate area. "Maybe over there. Maybe I find shaman magic when I find clan." He then walks away as quickly as his new and improved body could take him.
