Cecelia stepped off of the boat with her satchel clutched beneath her arm, her eyes lighting up with excitement as the hubbub of the bazaar hit her. "Quality seafood, quality fish! Just hauled off the boat, get 'em while they're fresh!" Hollered one chap, Cecelia peering over to him curiously as she began to wander the streets.
She readjusted her grip upon the handle of her bag. Her father always warned her that, in populated towns like this, thieves were prevalent. Even now, she found her eye subconsciously training upon the urchins of the bazaar that lingered a little bit too close. Lost in thought, she near bumped into a man that suddenly stepped in front of her. Expecting a sales pitch or a tirade on his affordable wares, she was instead surprised that the man attempted to initiate a conversation with her. She offered him a wary glance, blonde eyebrows furrowing in trepidation before she began to respond. She may be many things, but she wasn't /rude/.
She inhaled a breath, before, "Well. If you *must* know, I'm here to conduct business. Surprising, I know, but I'm here on behalf of my father to see if our wares would make a considerable profit here." She paused, eyeing him over. He seemed fairly wealthy himself, and that sent the gears in her mind ticking. She tapped the side of her chin. "Say, you wouldn't happen to know of any particular districts, people, or guilds, that would have an interest in an abundance of art, would you? Or an up and coming seamstress?"
Cecilia quizzed the man for as long as he would allow, taking in every single piece of information that he deemed to bestow upon her before her brother Laurent stepped off the boat and chided her for lollygagging. She offered the man a polite wave in farewell, before obediently following after her twin.
