    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is anyone who uses outside knowledge of a game to gain an upperhand in said game. Example being let's say you know that through research(away from the game or not in the game) that a certain place has certain resources. Because of this knowledge, you gain an upperhand in how to acquire or deplete said resource.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming essentially is sentient actions that don't give pawns or players a chance to react.

"Well sir, I've come looking for a place to settle down." Hesitantly I show him the rags I wear because of the lack of place to stay. "I wish to recreate a farm or ranch to support a family and some. I unfortunately lost mine long ago, and have been hopping from place to place to find nice land to use..." I look for a place that sells seeds to start my farm, and ask for directions for someone who can possibly loan me land.

Here are the changes you'd need to make:

 

1. Not a hard requirement, just a suggestion: I suggest making your physical description a bit longer.

2. Your biography needs at least one lore reference; this can be a historical event, a location, a religion, et cetera. I suggest checking out the wiki for ideas.

3. Your character needs to have a serious, setting-appropriate name. I recommend Googling "human name generator D&D" or the like, or simply using a regular human name.
