“Hello!” Ydrin responds with a look of awe on his face, “I’m here with this vessel, here to make port and sell our wares.”
“Wonderful! Might I interest you personally with this fine ring?” the well-dressed gentleman asks.
Ydrin reaches for his coin purse with a smile. “How much?” he asks.
The gentleman walks around Ydrin in a circle before returning to his position, most likely eyeing his coin purse on his side. “Three Hundred Mina,” he responds holding out a beautiful gold band.
Ydrin surpresses a laugh, he knows that a ring like that is worth at most two hundred. “I’m sorry, I’ve only got one hundred Mina.” Without another word, Ydrin walks away into the sprawling bazaar before him.
