    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Doing things out of character, Something like getting a message on skype saying that your base has been blown up by a other clan you get on to stop the raiders. This would be metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Roleplaying overpowered items that are unfair to others. This is done by the player trying to max out his or her character with unusual abilities/powers and or unusual traits.
