    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming (in my words): The use of knowledge not available to the character you are roleplaying. So like if my character were to be tasked with a question, let's say 4 + 4 but he doesn't know the answer I could use my knowledge outside of the roleplaying world to answer it, that would be metagaming. I hope that my "explanation" makes sense.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming in my words would be a sort of "style" of playing a game which helps me / my character achieve their goal in the most efficient way possible.

"Oh- Hi.." I respond, a bit surprised. "I'm looking to start my journey as an Adventurer, I want to change the world for the better any way I can." I stand there for a second, a bit embarrassed, waiting for a response.
