    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when a person or persons takes OOC (Out of character) Knowledge and tries to say they know it in character. Example: You know out of character that a guy named Jim is the person who stole from your character. You then track Jim down without any rp reason and say you know it was him.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when a person or persons do an action that they cannot simply force. This also applies to actions that they have no power to do. Example: You turn into a dragon and eat someone or You slice someone's hand off.

    One is something you cannot do while the other is forceful and doesn't allow the person you rp with a say in the situation.
