    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Well, to my understanding, Metagaming is for example dying and then knowing precisely where the trap that killed you is. Its knowing stuff your character knows
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Basically pretending to be a god. This includes saying stuff like 'I smite you with lighting because I'm the son of a god'.

Kai looked at the man, slightly suspicious. But the man seemed friendly enough, so an easy smile lit up Kai’s face. “I am here to browse some of your excellent wares,” he said smoothly. The man beamed, “right this way!”.  Kai feigned interest in some of the ware, to all outside viewers, spearing to be very intrigued in some of the finer clothing pieces, but to the keen of eye, they could see his nose twitching slightly, sampling the air for a scent. Then he found it. Dune alabaster. Kai had been tracking him for days. Kai looked slightly to the side, just to see Dune sneak into an alley on his right hand side. without interrupting the man as he explained the way a tortoiseshell bag was created, Kai melted into the background shadows, in pursuit of Dune.

  •  Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are incorrect. Please review our Wiki’s definitions and correct yours accordingly! I recommend including an example so I know you fully understand. 

  • Your Character Biography is missing some lore references! Please remember to include at least two! There are many things you can reference including but not limited to existing settlements, wars, and religions. Here are some links that may help you find some!

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short; please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Here are some questions you can ask yourself: where are they from? What was their family like? In what situation did they grow up? How did they get where they are today?

  • Your Character Biography states that your character was cursed by a witch. This is not possible - your character cannot have significant magic-related interactions prior to joining the server.

  • Your Character Biography states that your character is a fox-human hybrid. Those do not exist in LoTC. Please correct accordingly.

  • Your Character Biography states that your character has excellent hunting skills due to his expanded senses. He can have neither of those things; characters cannot have well-developed skills prior to joining the server, nor can they have unnaturally superior physical attributes.

  • Your Physical Description is inconsistent with your character’s race. Please visit the wiki page for said race and read about the acceptable physical attributes.

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks must include at least one noticeably negative trait that will strongly impact your character’s way of life. Anything that can be considered a fault in their personality is acceptable.

  • Your Skin is not up to LotC’s standards. Please take a look at our Skin Archive for references and free skins that you may use if you can’t find anything better.

  • Your Skin does not match the physical attributes of your character’s race. Please correct this accordingly!
