    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: the use of information learned outside of character, in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: keeping a realistic feel to the characters conducted by their traits and not over-powering their actions.

Football being his passion, Babatunde would always play football next to the docks with the balls he would steal from nearby stores. While doing keep-ups, he kicked the ball too hard, thus landing on a boat. Babatunde always had trusted his speed and agility, thanks to his genetics. Unfortunately, he was not quick enough to escape before the massive boat took off. He hid in a barrel. When the ship sailed, he got out of it without being noticed and run as fast as his nigerians legs could, therefore entering a massive city, where he instantly thought his dreams would become reality.

  • Definition of power-gaming is incorrect. You may check out LotC’s definition of both terms to get a better understanding, https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Metagaming_%26_Powergaming.
  • Your character biography does not fit our medieval realm, server lore or story. Seeing as you used modern-day, real-life places and names, that would not be applicable on Lord of the Craft. When coming up with your medieval-characters story, please use at least [1] piece of  server lore in your character biography. Things such as race and general names of cities or people do not count. Linked is the wiki page for the server lore. 
  • Make sure your character biography is a minimum of [10] sentences. This is an opportunity to flesh out who you will be role-playing as!
  • The character scenario must include an emote and a quote. Please refer to the example given in the application guidelines as a reference.
  • In personality traits, a ‘Jamaican God’ would not be applicable in the Lord of the Craft server. Again, you may check the server lore for relevant Gods in Lord  of the Craft.
