Orpheus would begin to stare into the mans eyes and would look down again, responding "I have business here... none of which should concern you". He'd then walk around the gentlemen with no feeling of empathy towards completely passing that man, but that's the response of a person that's losing the capability to feel emotion.
For most encounters like this, Orpheus would not think much of it but a small obstacle that waists time.
