    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically getting informed of a raid or something by someone on the server when you are not on the server.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is basically where one character would force an emote upon another character. An example, referring to the example in the wiki, is saying character A sliced off character B's head.

I would ask if I know the man. If he says "Yes" then I would ask him if he would like to catch up and chat. If he says "No" then I would say, "Thank you for the kind welcome sir, but I have to get on with my business" I would then wave and continue with what I was doing.
