How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information that would break the current meta.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you make a character that can essentially do anything and isn't limited by anything either.

Unfortunately, your application has been denied because it had too many errors. Here is some feedback on the aforementioned errors:

  • Your Metagaming Definition is incorrect. Please review our Wiki’s definition and correct yours accordingly! I recommend including an example so I know you fully understand.

  • Your Powergaming Definition is on the right track, though it’s not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help, and I recommend including an example so I can tell you fully understand.

  • Your Character Biography commonly references things that do not exist in canon LoTC lore. Some examples are Gerhimund's Court, Hybora, Lubba, and Boro Kon. Please replace these with valid references.

  • Your Character Biography states that your character has experience battling a monster. Neither the monster nor the magics used by it are lore friendly, and your character cannot be very skilled nor experienced in anything prior to joining the server. All such experiences must be achieved through roleplay.

  • Your Physical Description is inconsistent with your character’s race; humans cannot have red eyes. Please visit the wiki page for said race and read about the acceptable physical attributes.

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks states that your character suffers from “The Call of the Deep.” If this is supposed to be a lore-related condition, it does not exist.

You may reapply at any time as long as you correct the mistakes that were pointed out above. If you have any questions, please send me a message on discord @amelica#8025, and I recommend you join the LotC discord using the following invite: https://discord.gg/fwEQA2F. Lastly, take a look at the New Player Hub for further help: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/193743-new-player-hub/
