    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you combine your own knowledge with the knowledge of the character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you make your character too powerful, without ability to be beaten, without flaw, etc. either in creation of the character or through the way you roleplay the character.

He assumed the well dressed gentleman was a powerful figure, one of which an alliance with would be helpful in Yevvek’s ultimate goal in life. Gripping hold of his political writings, he firmly placed it in the gentleman’s hands. “I trust you will find this answers any questions of yours about me.” Yevvek concluded with a small, maniacal smile.
