    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming is a practice by which LoTC characters are bequeathed information which compromises their ability to remain in character.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Power-gaming is the practice granting LoTC characters power and energy that is not in alignment with the character.

Not having spoken with anyone for several months, I’m distrustful of this man.  Who is he, and what does he want with me?  But I check my social anxiety and remind myself that that city dwellers are like this - constant chit chat about things that don’t matter.  So I stand up tall and give a curt nod before replying, “Greetings!  I have come down from the north to sell these furs I have collected.”

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?

  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks are a bit lacking. If you’re lost on what more to say, think of their fears, how they act around new people, etc.

  • Your Skin does not match your character’s race. Please correct this accordingly!
