    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is a broad term usually used to define any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game. Another definition refers to the game universe outside of the game itself.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: To do things that can't be realize by an IRL character. For exemple forcing emotes on other characters, performing unrealistic physical, ignoring effect of something...etc

“Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?"

"Good morning sir. Yes it's true the stories i've heard are true this city is wonderfull." He look arround and took him to a quieter place "Follow me" They arrive in a small street "I came here, because I've heard someone needs person for a secret adventure." He looks if nobody hear or see them and he continues "A quest to undermine the activities of the Oly Empire."  He approached the gentleman and said to him very softly. "Someone is following me, you must leave like if you never met me before, have a nice day sir and be careful."

  • Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are incorrect. Please review our Wiki’s definitions and correct yours accordingly! I recommend including an example so I know you fully understand. Let me know if you need any help!
  • Your Character Biography is missing a lore reference! Please remember to include at least one! These can be major events, wars, religion, etc. Here are some links that may help you find some!
  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 6 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory! Think about where they're from, what their parents were like, why they are how they are…?
  • Your Roleplay Definition and Experience must include whether or not you've roleplayed before!
  • Not a point you need to fix, but you can talk about rp politics. You can not however talk about ooc (out of character) politics as this can lead to a toxic ooc chat.
  • Your Physical Description is a bit lacking; I suggest adding some more detail! If you’re lost on what to add, height, eye color, hair color, hair length, etc. are all good. 
  • Your Personality Traits/Quirks are a bit lacking. If you’re lost on what more to say, think about topics such as how they react around new people, or how they view others around them!
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response must be written from only the perspective of your own character! Do not control the actions of the man who greets them, simply respond to their first words!
  • Your Roleplay Scenario Response is not written in the proper format as it is written on the server. Please write your response in the form of;
    • "[dialogue]" action "[dialogue]". <- it does not have to be exactly in that format however.

 

If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied. When you are finished, please message me on discord @FionnTWG#3845 to let me know, or if you don’t have a Discord, send me a forum message, and please do ask if you have any questions.
