    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta-gaming describes the use of information gained out-of-character to influence in-character decisions. For example, a player using knowledge of a type of magic gained from the wiki to claim their character knows magic is meta-gaming.

For example, a player delcaring through emotes they've killed another player in a single action is powergaming, since it gives the other player no chance at defending and portrays the p

“Well met, good sir!” Lyonel exclaimed with happiness to finally step off of the ship that had kept his seasick for days now. Lyonel walked down the gangway with his signature black cane and bird mask, and approached the man. “Sir, I couldn’t be more glad to see you after such a dreadful journey. Where can I find the hospital in this fine city?” he questioned.
