“Good evening,” Elmar says, forcing a smile while at the same time taking in the mans clothes. “I’m Elmar, I’m just travelling through hoping to pick up some supplies along the way.”
“Of course,” says the man,”If your looking for supplies I must suggest that shops down there 3rd from the end on the right.”
As the man points Elmar feels disappointed and a bit annoyed but not altogether surprised. “Thank you but I’m familiar here and I prefer the shop just opposite it, I find it much cheaper and has a wider variety.” As Elmar turns down the street he hears the man mutter something under his breath. Just for a second Elmar’s hand twitched and he starts to turn back, but then he continues on.
