    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the act of OOCLY obtaining information and using it IRP without receiving said information through roleplay. For instance, I can't approach a player and already know their name without asking them through a simple conversation in roleplay.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is the act of unjustly forcing actions upon yourself or another player. For instance, if I'm sword fighting someone else and I emote stabbing the player and instantly killing them- that'd be greatly considered an act of powergaming. I need to allow my opponent time to attempt avoiding such an attack and I can't force someone to permanently kill their persona.
