    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: metagaming is when you do something in roleplay with information that your character doesn't know but you do. like going to help in a war across town your character doesn't know about because your friend asked for help.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: power gaming is overpowering your character or doing an action you shouldn't be able to do or say getting stabbed but getting up and walking away like it never happened.

Ulgrim steps off the boat while soaking in the new atmosphere. A well dressed man walks up tips his hat and says "Welcome, what brings you around?" so Ulgrim shakes his hand and in a low grumbly voice says "I hear your tavern's have nice ale." and chuckles slightly while walking towards the nearest tavern.
