    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information you learned out-of-character in a roleplay scenario. An example would be someone telling me over Discord that their character is planning to kill my character and then me acting in RP as if my character has that knowledge.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is any action that is considered unfair or is forced onto another player's character. An example would be an emote such as: Ansel stabs him in his arm. This emote is implying that the action performed has happened and does not give the recipient a chance to react. Another example would be a character that does not show any signs of being affected by serious injuries and continues to act as if nothing happened to them.

Ansel looks the man up and down, sizing him up. “I know your type. You sucker in new travelers by offering them help with whatever their reason for coming to the city is, only to swindle them for all they have. So whatever it is you’re planning on offering me, I’m not interested.” Ansel starts to briskly walk away before the man can respond.
