You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
"Oh! uhm... a-alright.." she sits down on the gestured cushion cautiously eying the strange woman, hesitating at first and then "well... I wish there was a story to tell... well... I guess there is one.. although hopefully incomplete" relaxes slightly and lets out a nervous chuckle before continuing "so, I am not much of a special case.. I grew up in an average family home with myself and my older sister, my parents thought me to be a lady of class and hopefully grow up to be married off to someone in a noble house, of course the chances were low but they tried, dressing me up, making sure I knew how to be fancy, among other customs... but I always felt like my calling was something else, something a bit more... hand to hand... I always wanted to be a warrior or sorts.. not just any warrior but somewhat of a magical warrior if it were even possible!" her blue eyes almost light up as she starts to speak on her hopes and dreams "I know some say it isn't a ladies place to be on the frontlines, but that's all I've ever wanted, I want to become a soldier and also posses magics that will protect myself and my allies, I believe some my call them paladins. My parents of course, aren't very conducive to the idea... so... I did what any logical young adult would and ran off! heh.. hopefully bound to prove my parents wrong and show the world what a little Lani can do. right now? I'm off to visit an old friend in Lurin, someone who hopefully might be able to aid me in my goals without the judgmental eyes of my family, don't get me wrong I still love them but.. I just hope that I can prove them wrong! haha! so.. yeah!" she takes a deep breath and sighs* "ah I got a little too excited.. eheh.. uhm.. can I go now?" she would wait for a simple nod before she left with a smile and wave, bowing slightly before she left the tent

How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Whenever i create a character, if i ever plan to do something that seems impossible i establish it immediately and stick to it, if there are no powers then there will remain no powers, its a strict rule ive given myself in many RP circles, and i never go outside of a world's capabilities when it comes to 'powers' however being so new to minecraft RP and LOTC as a whole i probably wont try anything nuts, juts a learning experience as it were.
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Knowing things you shouldn't and acting on them is a quick way to destroy any fun, outside of game things should never effect inside of game things directly, especially if a character has no reason to know it and act the way they do, it would seem out of place, and potentially ruin somebody else's day.
