    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Utilizing information gained out-of-character, such as chatting with friends about events you're not personally privy to, or someone trying to "help" you by telling you something you shouldn't or wouldn't know. Alternatively, reading a forum post or other such document that contains information well outside your character's field, and suddenly your character is a genius.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Dictating actions in a manner that prevents others from declining, countering, or otherwise opposing. Presuming the actions or consequences for another person, and making it fact, without their leave.

Arelion's brow briefly furrows in disdain at the surprise conversation; yet it quickly flips to an interested, if not puzzled expression. A confident smile crosses his face, and he says simply "All of the above, I'm afraid." He crosses his arms, feeling a bit exposed having been approached by a boisterous stranger in the middle of a busy market, but he adopts a wide stance to assert confidence, and credulity. "Do you happen to have some information to offer me in those regards, or is this an attempt to sell me something?"
