    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I reference this a lot in DND campaigns that I DM. I try to limit what I say about the campaign so my players cant use some small detail I accidentally said, or tips for the future when making a character. Metagaming is when my players use some knowledge I told them out of RP or out of the game and use it to their advantage later.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Forced roleplay, for instance, when someone says "I hit (name) with my sword" forcing damage or forcing some bodily harm instead of acting it out play by play or rolling, giving the victim a chance to block or roll.

-He eyes up the man, judging him for who he might be and the mask that lies upon his face. He wonders if this man really will help him find his destination or if he is just as clueless as he is. He waves the man off smiling and simply says

"Sir I am in a bit of a rush, I'm starving and would love chat but if you could point me where I could feast I would be very appreciative"
-he knows the man could not help him with his goal of being a nobleman, but a quick bite to eat wouldn't hurt. He walks to the market the gentleman pointed out, grabbed some bread and fruit and proceeded to tour the city of westerland himself. This will be a long and arduous journey for Myriil
