    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Using out of character information in order to gain knowledge that your character would not have. For example, reading ahead in a DnD module.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Utilizing the systems within a game itself to create and maintain the highest competitive advantage. For example, An overpowered League of Legends team lineup or a specific set of gun attachments in Escape from Tarkov. In roleplay this is also often comes in the form of pushing actions onto other players without giving them a chance to respond. E.G: "Frederick would swing his sword at the enemy in front of him, cutting off his head in one foul blow."

"Well 'ello t'ere sir!  T'a name is Frederick, Frederick Lightfoo'." the small Halfling would say in greeting to the man, reaching out his hand to shake.  "Oi've 'eard ya may 'ave some exo'ic spices 'ere tha' oi'm lookin ter bring back ter ma village." he says happily, bobbing his head along as he speaks and begins to make his way into the Bazaar with the stranger by his side. "Ya see we 'alflings are lovleh cooks!  'owevah, we 'ave been usin' t'a same spices fer wha' seems loike years now an' oi'm lookin' ter... diversifeh our por'folio."
