Aedon gazes at the well-dressed gentleman, an awestruck look upon his face as he tries his best to conjure up words.

 

“I- I’m looking for work, Sir. Any work. An honest trade, of course. I-“

 

Aedon pauses, biting his tongue to stop himself from giving away too much information to the unknown man. He weighs up the situation in his mind, taking in his surroundings and considering the many opportunities to work in this magnificent bazaar, before forcing his best smile and stretching out a hand towards the stranger hesitantly, as if to shake.

 

“Forgive me, Sir. My name is Aedon. It’s been an incredibly long journey and the land is quite unfamiliar. Would it be too much to ask for you to perhaps tell me where exactly I am?”
