The Grand Kingdom of Urguan hereby agrees to engage in a Trade Agreement with the Princedom of Caurost.

During this time, the signatories agree to the following.

The Grand Kingdom of Urguan agrees to:

Supply the Princedom of Caurost with property of equal size or value to sell their wares in the Capital of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan.

Establish a Trade Route between the two Realms and participate in ensuring it is protected for the safety of traveling merchants.

Protect the Princedom of Caurost merchants within the Grand Kingdom borders, and in the event of lost wares, will attempt to compensate.

Protect the Princedom of Caurost merchants under the Traders Protection Act in the event of war.

To send a Urguani Trade Caravan to transport three distributions of coal to Caurost’s capital for deposit using the established Trade Route every two years.

The Princedom of Caurost agrees to:

Supply the Grand Kingdom of Urguan with property of equal size or value to sell their wares in the Capital of the Princedom of Caurost. The property will be managed by the Merchant’s Guild of Urguan.

Establish a Trade Route between the two Realms and participate in ensuring it is protected for the safety of traveling merchants.

Protect Urguani merchants within the Princedom of Caurost’s borders, and in the event of lost wares, will attempt to compensate.

Protect the Urguani merchants under the Traders Protection Act in the event of war.
 

To send a Caurosi Trade Caravan to transport five distributions of copper to Kal’Baraz, the Capital city of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, for deposit using the established Trade Route every two years.

I. Duration and Enforcement

This Trade Agreement, made between the Grand Kingdom of Urguan and the Princedom of Caurost, shall remain in effect until either both parties mutually agree to its termination, until the end of the agreed duration of 6 years, or until one of the signatories violates its terms. Each signatory will be responsible for upholding this agreement within their respective borders. 

II. Breach and Termination

Should either party violate this Agreement, the opposing signatory shall hold the right to unilaterally terminate it. A deliberate breach shall constitute valid grounds for annulment.

III. Renegotiation of Terms

The terms herein may be renegotiated should one or more clauses become:

a) No longer applicable due to circumstances beyond the control of either signatory; or

b) Imbalanced in value owing to unforeseen external factors.

IV. Compensation for Breach

In the event of a willful violation, the offending party shall render unto the aggrieved signatory a fine of five hundred (500) mina per breach of contract, as restitution for damages sustained.

On Cultural Exchange

On Duration

With the Serene State’s desire for more relations outside of the southern region that they inhabit comes the start of their outreach to different settlements. The High Diplomat of Lurin, August Athri’onn, sought to establish treaties and trade with the prospective settlements of humanity and so the Commonwealth of Petra was the first to be contacted. After a like-minded conversation between the High Diplomat, the Archduchess, and the Petra councilors- both parties came to agreeable terms to form the flowing trade pact for its set duration.

ARTICLE I: TRADE

I. The Most Serene State of Lurin agrees to provide a location within its walls for the Commonwealth of Petra to sell its goods.

II. The Commonwealth of Petra agrees to provide a location within its walls for The Most Serene State of Lurin to sell their goods.

III. Disagreements regarding the goods sold can be cleared up amongst the signatories. 

ARTICLE II: NON-AGGRESSION

I. The Most Serene State of Lurin agrees to a clause of non-aggression upon the Commonwealth of Petra for the duration of this pact. 

II. The Commonwealth of Petra agrees to a clause of non-aggression upon The Serene State of Lurin for the duration of this pact.

III. If an individual from either of the respective settlements violates this article then an emergency meeting between the two groups shall be held.

ARTICLE III: DURATION

I. This pact lasts 12 years, till the end of the 132nd year of the Second Age.

II. The pact may be declared null and void if either signatory violates any of the articles and if the matter cannot be resolved between the two groups.

As there have been marks upon both states inflicted through conflict of the past, a recent more open approach has been adopted by both states to amend relations through trade and non-aggression for the improving of both states’ wealth and ensuring peace in the south to last.

On this day Mika Anarion paid a visit to Luthien Maeyr'onn as a letter had arrived to him concerning a council member who had approached them for a potential trade agreement. Discussions were fruitful and both parties came to acceptable terms to form The Silver Trade pact for its set duration

The United Kingdom of Aaun, being a relatively new nation state formed within the old lands of the Harvest Confederacy & former Holy Orenian Empire, has proven to be of great interest to the incumbent Grand King of Urguan, Agnar Grandaxe. Wishing to extend a friendly hand towards the United Kingdom of Aaun, on this date, The Grand King of Urguan made known his intention to enter into a Trade agreement between the two realms. It is hoped by the signing of this agreement, a step may be taken to future pleasant relations between the two realms.

ARTICLE III: CULTURAL EXCHANGE

I. The signatories agree to a Cultural Exchange with the counter-signatories nation, in the hopes of developing a deeper understanding and well-meaning relationship for future generations within both nations.

II. This Cultural Exchange will include a delegation of culture being sent to the counter-signatories national capital. Such delegations will showcase the traditions, culture and scholarship of their homelands.

Article I. Free Trade

Signatories agree to grant tax-free shops in each other’s territories for the sake of the exchange of goods and culture, doing so with the end of establishing closer bonds with each other's communities.

Article II. Services

Signatories agree to grant each other members access to their territories to lend their services, such as the commissioning of different craftsmen, with the goal of establishing closer bonds between the artisans and the general public of each signatory. 

Article III. Free exchange of knowledge

Signatories of the Forest Freedom Pact agree to free access for their members to access their libraries to exchange knowledge and culture. This also includes the exchange of books between each library to ensure the spread and security of knowledge with the agreement of the library directors. This is done with the belief such cooperation will be useful in the protection of the natural balance both communities aspire for.

Article IV. Freedom of Movement

For the proper fulfillment of the articles, and that the brethren of the forest may freely enjoy the beauty of nature, both signatories will allow its members access to their territories. If an individual from one group tries to enter the territory of another, but is banned or exiled by them, they will not be allowed entry.

Earlier this week a party from our Government met with the Mayor of Knoxville and her associates to set up a deal. After further negotiations between the Royal Treasurer Erich Barclay and Filibert Applefoot, a trade arrangement was agreed. The Wee Folk of Knoxville will be supplied with wood for building ploughing tools in exchange for a portion of their agricultural yields. The Resources from that deal will be distributed to those in need from the free food chest set up by Grand Maer Franz Barbanov in 358 E.S. and House Kortrevich. This chest can be found in front of Town Hall and will be refilled regularly.

ARTICLE I: RESPONSIBILITY

The Unified Domain of Vortice shall assume full responsibility for its citizens poor action for the slander given towards the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska’s Royal Family, as well as the assault of the Royal Prince Otto August Barbanov. The Unified Domain of Vortice does agree to the following, for their transgressions against the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska:This payment shall be received with thirty sets of ferrum chainmail armour, alongside thirty ferrum swords.  Three expensive steeds are also to be afforded to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska.  

ARTICLE III: EXTRADITION

The Unified Domain of Vortice does agree to extradite the aggressor to the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska for their accostment and disrespect of His Highness, Otto August. This extradition will lead to the public execution of the assailant in question; Peralien Maelstorm.

The Sovereign State of Talon's Port and The Chiefdom of Aetherdale agree to the following terms in the hope of bolstering the economy of both Talon’s Port and Aethervale by providing affordable goods that are much sought after in each town.

ARTICLE I - The Chiefdom of Aetherdale agrees to provide The Sovereign State of Talon’s Port a tax-free stall within the village that will be ran and managed by the Talon’s Port Council.

ARTICLE II - The Sovereign State of Talon’s Port agrees to provide The Chiefdom of Aetherdale a tax-free stall within the city that will be kept stocked with hunted goods sought after by craftsmen that will be ran and managed by the Chief of Aetherdale.

ARTICLE III - The Trade Pact will expire twenty years after implementation, lasting until Year 35 of the Second Era. Upon Year 35, the Trade Pact can be renewed with mutual consent from both involved parties.

My figureheads have grown quite the liking of the people of Haense, I even allowed them to teach the HRA a couple of things on the fields of war. I’ve been sending my prayers to up above ever since I got word about the war, blessing the blades of the Haensemen and cursing the arrows of the Suticans, hoping their projectiles  would miss the throats of my comrades. Sadly enough, the leadership of the Orenian Empire did not have the sufficient funds to buy us out of the Sutican war.

May my brothers coated in green watch my back as I take up the mantle of a leader in this war, may my friends from Haense toss their weapons to the side when I face them on the battlefield, for then they will be spared. Gold and glory, my comrades… gold and glory

Once this contract is signed, my men will raise their blades alongside the poor folk of Sutica, who just want to protect their land. It saddens me, the biggest fish going after one of the weakest fish.

The Agreement

The Suticans:

-The Sutican leadership will hand 70 000 minas to The Hangmen. (50% up front)

-The Sutican leadership will hand The Hangmen a simple plot of land for when they are forced to move out of this realm.

-If there is any way to spare The King of Haense and his people, an effort must be made to make sure that there will always be an option for the Haensemen to get out of the war, safely.

The Hangmen:

-The Hangmen will aid Sutica and their allies in any militairy exercises against the Holy Orenian Empire.

-The Hangmen Keep will serve as an outpost for the forces of Sutica and their allies.

-The Overseers of  The Hangmen will lend Sutica all of their knowledge regarding waging war, becoming a part of the core of the leadership of the conflict.
