“For too long has the question of the best Chef in the realm gone unanswered. Far in the past are the days where legendary skills of the kitchen where whispered of, whispers of those so talented surely they had been blessed by an aenguldaemon. No longer will this question be left to dwell in the dark depths of a cooks mind. Come one and come all to the Princedom of Fenn this grand harvest, and put your skills to the test. The competition will come in multiple stages, the field being halved each stage till a winner is left. Winning this tournament earns the chef a thousand mina prize and a fully outfitted kitchen in a location of their choosing. Each stage will come with five culinary items from across Arcas. Ranging from fine Horen veal, Sutican crab, Quali spices, and campfires for cooking or caste iron pots no one but the judges will know which items are in each box until they are opened. Not all ingredients must be used but at least three are required. Contestants will be judged by three judges in flavor, technique, and display. Fret not though those that get knocked out early. In the semi-final stage of this event, the crowd will be able to vote back a previous individual competing for another chance at culinary glory. ”

”The Princedom of Fenn invites all citizens of Fenn, as well as all Mali’fenn, to come home in celebration of Datura Sylric completing her Trial of Wind and in turn proving her worth to the Idhren’tirn and to Wyrvun. At this ceremony she is to receive her sacrificial dagger and perform her first sacrifice to Wyrvun. Additionally she will then receive her official brand and her Reweiler’uhier robes.

After her graduating sacrifice there is to be a large feast to be held in the dining area above the Princedom Services building. Provided will be a large array of delicious foods and decadent sweets offered to all who come. Additionally there will be plenty of drink! 

One may bring anyone of their choosing to this ceremony,  and our allies are free to attend the feast afterwards.”

We will be participating in teaching and hosting 2 types of gambling games. 

Quick Lottos!

This game requires the players to choose 3 numbers, each from 1-20. They write it down with their name, and once all the players put their names and numbers the house will be pulling three numbers. The name with the most matching numbers will get a prize of 50 minas!

Reflect! 

A recently found dice game within the walls of Tahu’lareh- brought in by a rather recent customer! Players put in their bets towards the pot first, the house will roll 3 dice, and the players will also roll 3 dice. The one who gets closer to the house wins that rounds pot! 

Additionally we will occasionally also throw drinking contests for a limited-edition celebratory pin! 

If enough visitors come wanting a brawl, we can even host small tournaments in the fight pit! If not feel free to have brawls on your own in the Game Room! We also have two pool tables if you instead would like to play pool! Hope to see you all there!”

There will be laughter, singing, instruments, dancing and all of it will be accompanied by the Silver Snowflake’s drinks and wonderful hospitality. Our poor theatre is just gathering dust here at the bottom of the Silver Snowflake and we think it is time we have it bustling with song and laughter once more!

Can you carry a tune? Make jokes on both your and others expense? Then come give it a shot! Signing up is FREE meaning the only thing you need to bring is your jokes, parchment, dancing shoes or instrument to amaze the crowd before you.

Each bard will be given one shot to perform on our very own stage. Once all of the bard’s have performed we will collect a vote of all the audience members opinions! Besides, who are the best judges than the very audience itself! 

Now, we will get to the juicy part, the winner of the battle will earn a prize of 500 Mina and a wonderfully donated lute!

A pristine white envelope has been delivered to the many mailboxes across The Princedom of Fenn, The Under-Realm of Urguan, and The Princedom of Aegrothond. Each has been sealed with a blue wax seal in the design of Wyvrun.

“After the Under-Realm opened its doors to the people of the Princedom of Fenn and the Princedom of Aegrothond, the people of Fenn have decided to return this gesture in kind by opening our long-frozen gate to our two close friends.”

“The Princedom of Fenn, its Grand Prince and his council, welcome all who receive this letter to a festival in order to celebrate the Princedom’s renewal. There will be a sparring tournament for all attending and a ritual of change for the mali’fenn. Food and drink will be provided by the many people of Fenn and the Silver Snowflake.”

“This feast will celebrate the relationship between the three nations, the rising of Akkar Tundrak and in turn the rebirth of the one true mali’fenn nation.”

The tavern dimmed its light while the last customers walked back to their houses, 

 Wenches were sent home early while the owner closed the doors for tonight.

One of the dwarves that had been drinking all night waddled on his own through the dark and cold void of the streets, he disappeared into an alley while loudly singing the chanties of great dwarven heroes before morphing his drunken lullaby into

a shriek of terror.

The following morning people gathered at a horrific sight.

remains of a mutilated body were scattered across the ominous alleyway 

and struck fear within the hearts of the people of Fenn.

A guard from the Ivae’Fenn mutters towards his colleague.

“This is the third one this month... why won’t the council do anything about it?”

“Calm yourself, I am sure they’ll fix this… I think…”

“Hah… sure… when one of their own dies you mean…”

However, while the guards were bickering someone managed to slip past them.

The hooded figure kneeled down at the crime scene and whispered to himself, slightly creeping out the citizens that did notice him.

After this horrible ecperience all people of Fenn recieved a letter from Master Hunter Oakenarrow, the letter was sealed with a wax stamp and very carefully written.

“Dear citizens of Fenn,

We have heard the news about the disappearances that have happened as of late and wish to say that we are certainly not turning a blind eye to it.

The people of Fenn shouldn’t have to live in fear and that’s why the council has decided to hold a meeting at the tavern in three days

to discuss the matter with all of you. all those that are able to join us are free to

enter the investigation and help us find the ones responsible.

May Wyvrun guide you.”

[!] The Silver Dragon would be bustling with business

Those within the tavern would be enjoying their drinks, draughts of ale and mulled wine making their way throughout the establishment. The friendly barmaid can be found entertaining a slew of drunks by the bar and a few of the local Ivae’fenn practice in the fighting pits. As the evening progressed, one of the local barmaids stumbled upon a table in the corner. An Ivae’fenn officer held his helmet on his knee while he conversed with a dwarf. The two seemed rather caught up with their conversation. 

“....T’eh fool h’s been stumblin’ about deh square, mumblin’ and the loike. Almost tripped on deh ol’ statue of t’eh Gran’ Prince…”

“It is indeed suspicious. And you said this man was clothed in a shroud of some sort? Odd, especially after the case of that missing person from the Market District”

The barmaid passed their table, taking the empty tankards and skimming an empty table with a rag. She continued to listen in on their talk.

“T’is madman better be dealt wit’, all these missin’s and the loike. Sometin’ is aloof…”

    Deciding it would be best to shake such dark thoughts from her mind, the tavernworker returns to her station. 

A Festival of Ice and Iron

     To celebrate new-found prosperity throughout Arcas, the Kingdom of Urguan and the Princedom of Fenn shall be holding two festivals in their respective capitals of Kal’Evraal and Tahu’lareh. 

     The first of the festivals will be held in Fenn, where those who attend can browse the numerous market stalls and unique products in the town square. There will be a feast in the Castle Sigirath. There will be a fighting tournament where the winner will walk away with a champion’s purse of 3,o00 minae. 

     The second festival in Urguan will hold a mighty feast in which the best Dwarvish ale and food will  be available. After the celebration, there will be another fighting tournament where the winner will receive 3,000 minae.

The Festival of Passing, 1724

The afternoon of the festival, The First Seed, 1724.

                On the afternoon of a cool day in The First Seed, 1724, the town square of Fenn filled with booths, every corner having its own game, shop, or attraction. The tavern opened its doors, allowing guests to flow in and admire the recent renovations. Mead flowed through the streets, the warmth of the tavern’s ever-burning fireplace filling the air. The festival attendees crowd the street corners, every booth and shop constantly occupied and being visited. T-Shirts were given out for free to all attendees, who wore them with pride. They read, “<3 ICE”, and came in a crop top, tank top, and regular T-Shirt version. 

                With colourful booths such as Black Jack, golem arm wrestling, an engraving shop, dunk the Grand Prince, and more, there was something for everyone who attended. By the end of the festival, there were beet boys and Curonians clambering over each other, brawling in the tavern, a tournament taking place in the barracks, citizens and non-citizens alike with empty pockets after having gambled away all their money to a Hou-Zi, and a soaked Grand Prince after having been dumped in the dunk pool several times. 

                Throughout the evening patrons, were able to purchase fireworks in anticipation for an open fireworks show set to be held at the end of the event. After the winner of the tournament was announced the festival goers returned to the fountain in the square, where, just before the sun rose, fireworks lit up the sky. As the sun rose, however, a bandit attempted to rob the organizer of the festival, Emeline Tathvir, but all the goers came swiftly to her rescue and executed the bandit, just going to show how nothing can stop Fenn from having an excellent and successful event.

The Festival of Passing, 1724

The evening of the festival, Malin’s Welcome, 1724.

             After the drama, loss, and tragedies of the war, the Fennic people would like to celebrate our lives and the passing of the conflict in a joyous and lively festival, where citizens of Fenn will open booths for each of their respective talents, including gambling, brawling, and a city-wide scavenger hunt. The festival will take over the city, where we are pleased to welcome any and all that would like to come and participate in the festivities. 

             The festival will take place all over the city starting in the town square, with booths and the like spread out all across the inside of the walls of Fenn. The city-wide scavenger hunt will take place throughout the entire time, where the first person to find all the items will receive a prize. A drinking contest will also take place in the newly re-opened tavern, along with plenty of food and fighting for all those looking for some fun. 

             Entry is free, but certain booths may sell products. Limited edition shirts will also be for sale during the festival, so make sure to grab one during the only night you will have the chance to!
