THE DE ALBA ACT

As Published on 11th of Sun’s Smile, 1745

It is on this very eve that I, Francis de Alba, son of Angelo I and his rightful successor, have returned to my father’s demesne to claim my birthright, ascending myself to the Count of Astorga, furthermore aligning myself with the ilk of Morsgrad.

My Father had sought it best for his Kingdom whilst he served as Lord-Regent to rebel against the Kingdom of Helena and its wicked influence that does nothing but siphon from those with the misfortune to be administered beneath it. Yet, the council had cast him out as regent and instilled themselves once more amongst the Helenian grasp. In return, they were revoked of their Kingly status as Peter III unlawfully claimed it, retroactively applying a new bill passed which was mockingly named after my House, the lineage of de Alba.

To that, it remains impossible for me to go against what I - and my Father - believe to be right:

I formally declare the County of Astorga  independent from Peter III, The Kingdom of Helena & Curon.

Introduction

The County of Astorga is a multicultural settlement that promotes the advancements in science and art, built with an original style that attempts to break with the standards of our time and further evolve our culture. Built at the edges of the Kingdom of Curonia, it serves as both vanguard for the Empire and a safe haven to those that seek refuge from the constant conflicts of the most populated metropolis.

The housing at Astorga is for free and all kinds of guilds are welcomed.

The County of Astorga is ruled by the Count and his council, following an agnatic elective succession law, in which the Count must designate one of his male relatives of House de Alba as heir to all of his titles before his death.

El Consejo de Astorga

El Consejo de Astorga is the most important institution within the county, it is composed of individuals that proved their trustworthiness to the Count and House de Alba, called Cosenjal/es, they are in charge of all the administrative duties that the Count can't accomplish himself and he desires to delegate. Unlike the councils of other realms, in Astorga, all the Concejales are expected to accomplish several tasks of different nature, instead of being divided into several charges.

This saints’ weekend, a wedding will be held in the later eve. A ceremony will be held within the County of Astorga, not far from the city of Avalain.

We plan to gather the people of Arcas in order to not only celebrate the matrimony between two souls but also to celebrate the battle won against Mother.

There will be a feast, music, dancing and even a firework display at the end of the event. It is surely a night to be remembered by all who attend.

Two birds are to be wed under the eye of GOD and in the presence of friends and family.

You are invited to a gathering within the County of Astorga. The Count and his fiance wish to invite you personally to such gathering. There will be music, conversing, drinks and some games.  The event will be held after the witan, within the castle located in Astorga. We dearly hope that you will travel with us to our humble home to partake in socializing.

Galeria de Alba

Introduction: 

The Galeria de Alba is the new model shopping district of the county of Astroga.

It aims to concentrate all the shops, boutiques and artisans of the town in one large building,

its designed to offer the best display and arragement quality for shop owners to schow and sell their products.

Location,  acces, neccesities:

The Galeria is located right at the town entrance. anyone who enters the town of Astorga will pas through the Galeria de Alba.

The Galeria is also adjacent to the town’s SS pillar,  granting direct acces to the shops.

The Bank of Astorga is also located inside the Galeria building, giving easy acces to minas for trading.

The Shops :

There are shops of all configuration and sizes that can be adapted to the wishes of the owner. mainly there are Stalls with up to 8 schowcases or Boutiques with over 10 schowcases.

as of now Shops have a free rent but in time a small rent will be introduced to keep track of the shops activities.

The Regiment of the Astures

Issued by Lord Angelo de Alba, Grand Knight of the Order of Ursus, Count of Astorga and Castellan of Ursidae Stronghold on the 7^th of Sigismund's End, 1728.

Introduction:

The Regiment of the Astures is composed of men and women under the service of House de Alba and the County of Astorga, their purpose is to protect the lives of the people of the realm without matter their race, age or culture. The Astyrs, name given to the members of the regiment, specialize on defensive duties and counterattack techniques, being specifically effective to render their enemies innocuous.

Ranks:

Coronel de Los Astures:

The Coronel de Los Astures is the highest authority within the regiment and serves directly to the Count of Astorga. He is accountable for all the actions of his subordinates and his duties include, but are not limited to: Ensure peace within the County of Astorga and its vassals, host one grand training every saint week, manage the ranks within the regiment and maintain diplomatic relations with the military officers of neighboring settlements. 

Capitán:

A Capitan is someone that has proven their capabilities as leader and expertise on combat, each Capitan is in charge of their own battalion and under the guidance of the Coronel General of the regiment. They are responsible for the wellbeing of the soldiers within their battalion and the recruitment of new Reclutas.

Teniente:

A Teniente is an officer within a battalion, they are chosen by each Capitán and their duty is to help with the management of the battalion and recruitment. There can exist up to two Tenientes under each Capitán.

Sargento:

A Sargento is a soldier that served as a Cabo for a significant period of time and as consequence is assigned more responsibilities. They serve as officials when their superiors are not present. 

Cabo:

The bulk of the regiment, Cabos are soldiers that have completed basic training and are ready to jump to the battlefield. In order to be promoted to Sargento, they need to recruit three soldiers and three years of experience within the regiment.

Recluta:

The lowest rank within the regiment, the Reclutas are untrained civilians who still require to show their worth and need to work hard in order to become a full-fleshed soldier of the Regimiento de Los Astures. Their basic training lasts for an entire saint week, at which point they are promoted to Cabo.
