The Joining of Clan Ogr, and Mau’Madur

The Meeting
In the deep caverns of Mau’Madur, a meeting took place between the Kezuhk, and a very… heft, fellow. Standing at 10 feet, 870 pounds and colored a dark green, known as the Tyrant of Clan Ogr, Zarok’Ogr met Ugrad at the bone alter among the shaman temple.

The Pledge

THE CLANS OF MAU’MADUR
 

It was a brisk night in Mau’Madur. The ocean waves bringing forth winds that even rocked the lanterns above the tavern that the snagas farmers recently made for us. To coincide with this, whispers among the orcs began circulating as the last vote was taken for the new Kiredh.

After delaying for quite some time, it was finally the grand moment. After pulling up his paper he reads….

“Noka’Lur…

Akila’Lur…

Kaluz’Lur…

Reza’Lur…

Fiil’Yar…

Anh Falum’Lur.”

He says with a pause as if finished, but then continues to say...

” Falum’Lur, haz blahd nub tu bi ah Kiredh. Therefore, onli 5 wihl bi elekted anh daht ez fiynal.”

He says giving a final nod before smiling to the orcs who were present.

“BRUDDAZ, MI PEEP LAT, MI WALK WIT LAT, AGH MI BLAH WIT LAT. AZ LAT BE HAVIN’ DON’ WIT MI. MI NAYM BE KALUZ UV DUH KLAN LUR, ZHINIGOTH UV WE GOI. AZ DUH KOWNZIL ELEKZHUNZ BE UPON WE, MI ASK LAT TU GRUK AGH REMEMBAH DUH BRUDDA WHO BE BRING’N WE GOI ZUPLYZ, MINA, AGH KONEKZHUNZ AKROZZ ARKAZ. *Would step off the table and nods to the crowd, some cheer, some jeer, and some remain stoic as Kaluz would walk off to his blargh, a determined look upon his brow*

It’s 2^nd of Sun’s Smile 1744. The day was like any other, Clog’Lak cleaning swamps and building rooms in lak swamp. Hours of work passed by and Reza’Lur showed up and Clog’s eyes brightened up, this might be the moment. He went up to her and had a fine conversation with her and then courageously asked her: ”Wuill lat want tu mayk kubz wib mi?” He smiled, little nervous that he will end up rejected like everytime. The waiting was short, but it felt like hours passed by. Reza’Lur said yes. He was happy and that’s how 2 new descendants of Lak and Lur clan were born. Few hours of slave hunting passed by and he asked her: ”Iz lat ukee wib bein’ mi mayt?”  Reza’Lur was shocked at first, but then nodded and said “Yub yub” . And that’s a start of Lak’s swampgoth and Lur’s snagagoth relationship.

Trades from the Swamp

The clans of Mau’Madur have now decided it is time to work towards more and more trade relations. With that being said, the Zhinigoth of Mau’Madur, Kaluz’Lur, has put forth the effort to create crates of supplies for our allies to buy. These prices are not set in stone yet, but will not be changed for one particular group unless gained a pass from the Kezuhk.

Come to Mau’Madur on Saturday, November 23 at 2pm EST for the starting activities.

You will have a grand time of festivities and food. With a hunt being held before the main festivities for a Bokolo bird to be the main course. All allies are welcomed!

Activities order list:

2pm EST: the hunt for the Bokolo bird begins, find  Noka’Lur for more info on what to expect.

3pm EST: Cooking will begin

3pm-3:30pm EST: A mud wrestling tournament (I.E a water-based pvp fights) will start, the winner will receive assorted liquors and minas.

4pm EST: the main feast will begin food and drink will be served to all!

If a Znaga wishes to become an Honorary Orc or their owner wishes it upon the Znaga, the owner as well as the Znaga must announce this to the city’s current Znagagoth. Whilst the Znaga might wish to be an Honorary Orc, they must complete multiple trials/requirements to do so. First of all, Znagaz must request the teachings of the spirits from a local shaman. The archaic teachings do not need to be long, however, there must be enough information to know most of the basic things, after the Znagas have completed their training they will then contact the Znagagoth and then tell them that they have completed it; The shamans may need to be present when the znaga tells the Znagagoth in order to provide proof of the teachings happening. As an alternative, the owner of the Znaga could also teach the Znaga about the spirits. The Znaga must have spent at least four years or more as a Znaga; the Znaga must be trusted within the community of Mau’Madur.  Special privileges can surpass this rule if the Znagagoth believes that the Znaga is more than worthy. Znagaz who wish to become an Honorary Orc must also go through a small amount of military/weapon training for basic defence, this process happens much like the shaman process and the same rules apply. The Znaga must show great passion and interest in the culture and religious ways of an Orc and they must show the Znagagoth this in either a verbal way or as an art piece; animal sacrifices are also accepted. Multiple Orcs will need to know who the Znaga is and it is beneficial if the Znaga is well known throughout the city. Znaga owners have a say in whether or not a Znaga can become an Honorary Orc. If the owner wishes for the Znaga to not become an Honorary Orc they are allowed to do so, however, if the Znaga deems itself worthy they are allowed to fight the owners opinion and can request to appear in front of the Tribal council, accompanied by the Znagagoth, for further inspection.
 

Upon the completion of the Znaga becoming an Honorary Orc, the Znaga must get an adjustment to their current tattoo in order to symbolize that they are no longer a Znaga. Honorary Orcs are NOT allowed to have Znagaz of their own unless they pay double the highest bid for the Znaga they wish to have during auctions. If an Honorary Orc somehow obtains a Znaga they may NOT set the Znaga free without permission from the Znagagoth. Failure to listen to this rule could result in serious punishment from the council. An Honorary Orc may never become a Znagagoth under any circumstances. After a Znaga has become an Honorary Orc they mustn't do anything to offend a fellow Orc and they may not do anything that may be considered non-honorary. Under extreme circumstances, this could lead to an Honorary Orc being stripped of their position and exiled from the city. Under other circumstances, the Honorary Orc may be, again, stripped of its position and returned as a Znaga. Honorary Orcs will get respect from all clans within the city and will be treated as equally as other Orcs.  The new Honorary Orc will have access to clothing and will be taught blah by another Orc unless they’ve learned it already. The new Honorary Orc will be provided with new clothing depending on the circumstances. The new Honorary Orc must accept the new culture that they have provided themselves with; it is beneficial in the case that Honoraries forget their previous culture entirely. 

The Honorary Orc ceremony will be placed shortly after the Znaga has completed all requirements and the Honorary Orc status has been approved by the Znagagoth as well as the owner of the Znaga. The ceremony may be planned by a clan that the Znaga previously served or it can be the traditional Honorary Orc ceremony hosted by the Znagagoth and/or the council. Proper clothing and accessories will be prepared for the Honorary Orc before the ceremony. Before the ceremony, a giant bonfire will be prepared near the center of the city or in any place of the Znagagoth’s or councils choosing. The event will be accessible to all citizens and they will be allowed to spectate and take place in the ceremony, either by helping prepare or being someone of use in the ceremony. The ceremony will take place at night time. The first part of the ceremony will be the council taking their places in seats that will be arranged in a horseshoe shape in front of the fire, the seats will include other higher-ranking officials such as the Znagagoth, Huntsgoth, and the Ghalzud. Citizens will be lined up around the fire and the new Honorary Orc will stand before the council directly in front of their seats. Other Orcs will be playing large drums as everyone enters; dancers may be seen, if requested. The Honorary Orc will be the last to arrive. Upon the arrival of the Honorary Orc, everyone shall stand and the council/Znagagoth will make a small announcement regarding the Honorary Orc; the council may sit after the announcement. After that, the Honorary Orc will then raise their hand in the air, clenching their fist and looking slightly towards the sky, the Honorary Orc will then repeat a vow given to them by the Znagagoth. 

“I promise to uphold the values of Krugs’ true Aengulic Descendents, the honor beyond the bloodlust, the fire within my soul, the grounding within my mind. I will serve my clan and help it prosper forevermore. My past and race does not define me, only my passion and ambition. Praise Krug, praise the spirits, all hail Mau’Madur.”

After the ceremony, the Znaga will be perceived as an Honorary Orc. They will be treated with the same respect as you would give a fellow brother or sister. They will be given the same clan responsibilities as any other Orc would. In addition, the Honorary Orc will be presented with political freedom. Overall, Honorary Orcs will be seen as equals to the traditional Orc, we will welcome them with open arms. Praise be the Spirits.

     As Krugmar began it’s descent, many noble uruks and goblins gathered together and starting talking about setting off from Krugmar and have their own place to call home. When the war with Oren happened and the Targoth fell at the sword of the human, the rush of a new place was pressed. The clans of Lur, Lak, Azog, Dhadron, and Ox banded together start a settlement in the swamps, that they soon called Mau’Madur. Ancient blah that would translate into warrior freedom.

     Our purpose is to return honor to the orcs, as from our blessing from Aenguls. The orcs are a honorable and strong race among others. Though as time passes, things grow weaker and weaker. Therefore causing the lack of, or failure of what one was destined to become. The orcs, were destined to be the elite of races, the strongest of races, and even the death of some. Therefore these tribes set out to accomplish this task.

Kezuhk

 These are the leaders of the highest ranking. Selected by the power of the clans and are required to be the Wargoths. They withold the highest power over the clans though can easily be overthrown, as long as the clans will it.

Ghalzud, the leader of the Ozgoz-Hai. This is a "might makes right" position and is given to the strongest uruk to lead our military. They carry out punishments among other orcs if demanded by any Kiredh. This orc is to be a very trusted military general among orcs and is expected to lead the orcs and the tribes to victory.

Ozgoz-Kura
These are your orcs who have been recognized by the Ghalzud to be stronger then most others and have served to do well in command and in combat. They often wear their armor around the goi to show their status. 

Ozgoz-Hai

The orcish military, only the strongest are accepted into this and are the protectors of the settlement. In time of war, all needed citizens are required to enlist into the military to help keep their home safe from intruders, though are resigned upon the war end to tend to any lost, wounded, or even slain clansmen.

Kiredh

These are select orcs from each clan. They can be seen as public servants of the orcs and are well trusted individuals. They are expected to be involved in the community and to represent their tribes as they see fit. These members are elected by each tribe present in Mau’Madur.

Snagagoth:

The Snagagoth role is given out to the best snaga collector. This person has right to control all snagas trade and sets rules for snagas. This role can be challenged for by proving your skill to the Kezuhk. If not on the Kiredh council already, they will be added.

Huntsgoth

The Huntsgoth is uruk who prides themselves in holding the best hunts, and have slain the biggest beast. This is given out by the Kezuhk as well and can be challenged. The huntsgoth also receives a voice on the Kiredh of not already on it.
