Piers zigzagged in labyrinthine style and led to various destinations - walk indifferently and you may end up inside a crannog or inside a modest construction of timber topped with thatch and random fishing nets of varying lengths. Bobbers and iron weights hang from the building's roofing like beads in a siren's hair. In the midst of the disarray of cobbled construction and meager resources, fishing rods of different tensile strengths and lengths have been lined up intently and orderly on racks along one wall.

Whether to retrieve needed equipment, to stow away caught catches from the sea, or to loiter with a lobster tail or fish spine to graze from; the anglers' station serves many purposes in Vistulia. Fedinri Krikdrul, known as the Black Elvellyn to many Cingedoz neighbors, is the guildmaster of this particular station and can often be found overseeing the usual traffic in and out of the quaint port at Crannogtown. The anglers' station appears interconnected with other ports across the Narrow Sea such as those in Helious, Norasath, and other ports leading to inland stations.

A young ruffian banters that you best have dry feet when you descend the disheveled route down the plateau as you approach the unpretentious Crannogtown. The route thins and splits like a hair, the left leading to a jumbled assortment of crannogs set on water's edge and the right pointing to a sturdy pier full of anglers and rabble.

Cinged men and women laugh, live, and loiter therein in addition to other more recent migrants. A crone leans precariously against her cane for support with her frail weight, looking into one of the crannogs poignantly. Brennus, Cormack, and Dumnoric provide a quaint sense of safety as they patrol between the crannogs while men tinker with wood and reed as more crannogs are slowly being assembled. Wafting smoke from cozy fires kept alive in each crannog and the dour stink of ever-burning tobacco offend your nose unless you have a liking for it.

Anglers from all over Almaris make a claim that the Vistulian waters are the most pristine with various species of fish and mammal found aplenty. Mooring posts litter the edges and contraptions for hanging large catches allow for butchery on the spot. The smell of the pier is only rivalled by the saltiness of the sea as the Vistulian Bay opens to the greater sea between the southern continent and mainland Almaris.

The people of the crannogtown often flood into the Vistulian Isles either on foot across the bridge or by boat bound between islands. People of a rough and tumble lifestyle find the hamlet interesting enough to intermix with fisticuffs and arguments often breaking out to cut through the common prattle of anglers patiently waiting on catches and coarse characters find the crannogtown a good place to lay low after offending or wronging someone.

The Cingedoz, having gained and lost players, has been moved to a quaint hamlet in the same settlement but different area. The Crannogtown is intended to be a comfortable place for folks to RP, have fun fishing, and potentially become a "lay low" place for more criminal and ruder elements. The Cingedoz, being less Slice of Life and a group overall for busier gamers, is meant to augment the place they are in and so we intend to have beautiful builds in the area!
