It all began with Siol Atmorice, the first woman of the bloodline. She was one of the original Snow Elves, one who went through the world altar and Wyrvun’s Blessing. As she was blessed, Siol is rumored to have seen Wyrvun, whereby the Aengul gave Siol some instructions of her own. Wyrvun told her to ensure that the Mali’fenn do not stray from Wyrvun’s blessing, and to keep a watchful eye on them. To let them stray to the path of darkness, will be the fall of the Snow Elves. Siol agreed to this and soon after she was blessed, Siol became the first High Priestess of the Mali’fenn. That was, until her death. They say she died of illness, but they remember her last words. “Let me not be remembered as a coward, but for the courage and rights we have all fought for.” Since then, the Atmorices have held high expectations to become priests and priestesses, with most becoming high in the ranking. That was their tradition. In revent there has been many changes within the bloodline and many events to go alongside this. The betrayal of Katrina Atmorice saw the first Patriarch Varan Atmorice become the leader of the bloodline for around five Elven months. After Varan had decided it was time to step down his eldest sibling decided to lead the bloodline. The one to lead the Bloodline afterwards would be Alenia Tundrak, Archvigilant of the Wyrvun’fiyem, Matriarch of the Atmorice Bloodline and Grand Princess of the Princedom of Fenn, who left Fenn and was thought dead. After this, the leadership was taken by Chomylla Atmorice, Matriarch of the Atmorice Bloodline and current leader.

The Atmorices consider family to be one of the most important things in their lifestyle, often showing to be very protective of their family members. They are also protective of their Snow Elven kin and would often put their life on the line to ensure their safety. The Atmorices often consider accomplishments to be apart of their lifestyle, taking their work into serious consideration. Towards other races, however, they are untrusting, even hostile, in particular, to the other elves. The reason for this being that the Atmorice bloodline make up and focus on one of the main aspects to the Mali’fenn culture, religion. This religion being the one in which follows Wyrvun. Furthermore, centuries of warfare against the Mali’mira have led to hostility towards such outsiders. You can usually find an Atmorice studying or working hard to accomplish their goals. The Atmorices are rather honorable as well, despite looking rather cold towards others. They especially honor their previous ancestors, taking what experiences they have had and learning from it.

The Mali'fenn would, for years, disappear from the Fringe - its young wielder Serelia one of many. The blade, and its owner, would not be seen for over a hundred years thereafter, when the princess would suddenly reappear battered and muddied at the castle gates of Tar'sil. While she would leave the Princedom days later, the blade was left with her nephew that day. Brief History Overview

The Tathvirs are an ancient bloodline stemmed from the founder, Amara Tathvir, one of the first Mali’fenn. During her time alive, she led the Tathvirs into a prosperous age, fighting alongside them through the years. Following Amara’s passing, the Tathvirs saw many individuals step up to take her position as head of the family. These individuals would quickly become known as bloodline heads. Over the span of many generations, Tathvirs have come and gone, with many scattering in the wind, destined for cities far beyond their own. Now, under the watch of a new bloodline head, the Tathvirs have begun the effort to regather their kin amongst the people of the Princedom.

Physically-Dominant Features

An average Tathvir ranges from 5’5” to 6’ tall, setting them on the shorter side for snow elves. Naturally, they possess lean, athletic builds that are maintained through constant exercise. They commonly have straight, silver locks accompanied by turquoise eyes ringed in a light gold which serves as a giveaway towards their identity. Most Tathvirs are swift-footed and agile, making them well known for their skill as scouts.

Attitude

Unlike the other Mali’fenn bloodlines, the Tathvirs are typically humorous and carefree, always looking towards the best in life, though this typically leads others to misinterpret them as reckless or childish. Despite their relaxed nature, Tathvirs are raised with the ideology of being defensive rather than offensive and protective of their own. They will, however, finish a fight that has been started. On the discussion of races, many Tathvirs are impartial, not holding ill will for many of them but not necessarily inviting either. In past years, many Tathvirs tried to mate primarily with other Mali’fenn, but the Tathvirs have become much more lax with their views on marriage in recent years.

They provide their knowledge of medicinal practices towards those in need and are always busy researching new antidotes. Some Tathvirs take a different path, seeking interest in the performing or fine arts. In the past, they have been famous for their refined artists and talented performers. Their contributions towards the Bilok’thuln leans towards alchemy, relating towards their curious and creative nature.

In the sense that the Tathvirs are very lithe and agile people, they make great scouts in the Ivae’fenn. They always wear lightweight armor, or no armor at all, and use knives and short swords as their primary weapon, alongside the bow - making them some of the Princedom’s finest archers.

Many a Tathvir are also known for their capabilities regarding healing. They would be the ones to become the backbone of the Princedom, not only through hard labor but also through the military. Throughout the years they were always the first ones to the mines or to the forest and always the last ones to leave the forge. During their time in Athera, the Sylrics did the work of thousands of men with only 300 strong among them, their hammers and chisels ringing loud throughout the hallowed tundra’s of Hesin’fin. As all races left Athera, Thandir was still the head of the Sylric namesake and followed the Tundraks to their new home, Tar’sil, on The Isles of Vailor. Whilst living in Vailor, Thandir II found love and marriage. He had two sons and two daughters, a rarity among the Snow Elves. His firstborn Ailduin was named his heir, followed by a daughter named Arthion, a second son named Selgauth, and the youngest daughter named Velatha.

His son Thandir III would return to Fenn shortly after to pay his respects and accustom himself to his family while a new Patriarch lead them. Thus, many would consider them more serious than other bloodlines, though one can note when asked a question, Sylrics tend to be rather blunt; straightforward and to the point. Despite their often brash or stubborn behaviors, Sylrics can be kind and respectful towards their kin. The Griffin, their sigil, perfectly reflects a Sylric’s state of mind: loyal, clear and determined.

Additionally, if someone wishes to be married into the bloodline, they must first speak with the Patriarch of the Sil’siimah, as it would be of the utmost disrespect to wed one of their family without first getting their blessing. This is primarily due to their militaristic, patriarchal family lifestyle from generations of war.

Each participant must forge themselves their own personal weapon; gathering all the materials themselves and by themselves alone. No help shall be offered to them, as they must build their own forge and use what they knowledge and materials gathered to create a beautiful piece of weaponry, from the largest of Greataxes to the smallest of daggers. When they finish and feel that it is worthy of the Sylric name, they are to return to the Manor and present it to their Bloodline Head. Once approved, a hunt ensues to test the durability of the weapon. A feast is then followed provided by the spoils of the hunt. As the feast ends the patriarch approaches the child, presenting him the Sylric Insignia, to be branded on to their weapon as well as stitched onto their cloak. This is to mark that they are now a true Sylric.

The Atmorices were one of the founding bloodlines within the Mali’fenn. The current leader of the Bloodline is Alenia Tundrak, Archvigilant of the Wyrvun’fiyem, Matriarch of the Atmorice Bloodline and Grand Princess of the Princedom of Fenn.

	History

The history of the Tundrak Bloodline is, in essence, the story of the Princedom itself. Serving as the royal bloodline of the Snow Elves, the Tundrak Bloodline has ruled over the Princedom of Fenn since the inception of the Mali’fenn in the ancient days of Aegis. Their rule is cemented by their martial prowess and, more importantly, the divine right they claim under the auspices of the Aengul Wyrvun.

It was the very leader of the dissident High Elves that passed first through the World Altar, Aelthos, who would become the first Snow Elf. Whereupon Wyrvun restored the sanity of these new Elves, henceforth dubbed as Snow Elves, it is said that the draconic Aengul took the Snow Elves for his own, to live as his people upon his mortal realm - those lands which always remained within the firm grasp of winter. It is these people that Wyrvun is supposed to have tasked with the defense and maintenance of his mortal holdings, anointing Aelthos as Grand Prince of the Snow Elves. With that, Aelthos founded the Princedom of Fenn and the Tundrak dynasty as Grand Prince Aelthos Tundrak I, laying the foundations for Fennic society. Henceforth, the title and role of Grand Prince has been passed down the generations of the Tundrak Bloodline, where it remains to this day.

The reign of Aelthos I was long, peaceful, and uneventful. It is not until the reign of his son, Aelthos II, that the Princedom opened to the outside world. As Wyrvun fell to corruption, the terror of his tainted form known as Ondnarch drove the Snow Elves out of their isolation during the years of Anthos, forcing them to regather their kin and reform their society. It would not be the last such occurrence, even after Wyrvun was restored to his purified form. The years of the Fringe saw the Princedom collapse under the weight of foreign invasions, scattering the Snow Elven people and taking the life of a great many Tundraks, including Grand Prince Aelthos II. This era of strife and genocide at the hands of humans, dwarves, and their very elven kin shaped much of the bitterness often found within the Tundrak Bloodline.

Athera saw the few remaining Tundraks serve as mercenaries in the employment of foreign armies, hoping to scrounge up enough funds to regather their people. It is said that these decades of mercenary work formulated the militarism within the Tundrak Bloodline that it eventually spread to the Snow Elven people as a whole.

It would be upon the continent of Vailor that these Tundraks set about their work. Led by the heir of Aelthos II, Aelthir I, the bloodline founded the city of Tar’sil and set to work rebuilding Fenn. This era would, however, be short-lived. Soon, the Orcs of Krugmar marched upon Fenn, later joined by the Empire of Oren and the realms of the Elves. The battle was bloody, but the attackers emerged victorious. Aelthir I was felled alongside most of the remaining Tundraks and a substantial portion of the Mali’fenn population. Several Tundraks managed to escape, along with the rest of the Snow Elves, who would remain scattered for years.

Finally, within the realm of Axios, the long-awaited heir emerged. Aelthir II, son of Aelthir I, began the process of rallying his bloodline and kin. Despite his youthful age, he too had taken to mercenary work in the interim since the fall of Tar’sil. Gathering his kin upon the Isle of Ceru, the young Tundrak and his people only managed to construct a fortress before the armies of the Empire of Oren and Elven realms arrived. In a fierce battle, the Tundraks proved their martial prowess, before being overwhelmed by the sheer number of attackers. Aelthir II managed to survive, although several other Tundraks were felled, including the commander of the Ivae’fenn siege weaponry that had outperformed the siege engines of the attackers - a cousin of Aelthir II’s.

Despite the tragedy, in typical fashion, the Snow Elves had no choice but to carry on. Aelthir II departed for the lands of Urguan, followed by what little remained of the Tundrak Bloodline, and the rest of the Mali’fenn. It was here that the Tundraks would finally reap the fruits of their labor. As Oren and the Elves warred upon Urguan and the Orcs, the Snow Elves quickly came to form the frontline of the loose allies’ defense. Soon, the Axiosan Coalition formed between the Snow Elves, Urguan, Orcs, Warhawkes, and the House of Staunton. The heavy infantry model promoted by the Tundraks proved effective, allowing for the use of the Snow Elves as shock troops within the combined army of the Coalition. It was through the toils of this war that Aelthir II formed a strong personal friendship with Grand King Bastion Ireheart of Urguan and King Tobias Staunton of Courland, laying the foundations for a three-way alliance that would last for much of Axios.

After a series of hard fought battles, the Coalition emerged victorious, and Aelthir II led his bloodline and people back to Ceru, founding the Citadel of Acael and city of Velaris. Upon coming of age, and having regathered most of the Mali’fenn, Aelthir II was finally crowned as Grand Prince of the reformed Princedom of Fenn, and quickly set to work rebuilding the foundations of the ancient state.

Upon the deaths of Bastion Ireheart and Tobias Staunton, Grand Prince Aelthir Tundrak II returned the Princedom and its people to their ancient isolation - one that has lasted through the transition to the continent of Atlas and founding of the city of Talar’ikur, and is still maintained to this day. As an ever constant reminder of the Snow Elves’ centuries of strife, however, the Tundrak Bloodline remains the smallest of the organized Snow Elven bloodlines.

	Characteristics

The physical characteristics of the Tundrak Bloodline are fairly standard among Mali’fenn. Their height can best be described as average to a little below average, commonly around 5’10”. They are typically of a slightly more muscular build than most Snow Elves, largely due to their history of heavy infantry that predates the Princedom’s transition to heavy infantry. The typical hair color of a Tundrak is a light shade of blonde, though those with white hair are not unheard of. The average lifespan of a Tundrak is shorter even when compared to that of the average Snow Elf, as they have proven to be common targets for hostile armies and assassins both on and off the battlefield.

The typical disposition of Tundraks is, simply summed, cold. The Tundraks are known to be rather stoic, and are overall distant - particularly to outsiders. Despite this serious demeanor, they are usually warmer around close friends and family. The tragedy of their bloodline has left the older remaining Tundraks somber and quiet, which has, in turn, bled into the demeanors of the younger generation. Tundraks are known to be firm, but their compassion for their Snow Elven kin is undeniable, as they reign in a protective, almost paternal manner. It is only when such sentiments are invoked that Tundraks might be apt to lose their temper and display a rare, uncharacteristic rage.

	Professions & Specialties

In addition to the strong proficiency in soldiering that the Tundraks share with the other Snow Elven bloodlines, the Tundraks are known to specialize in diplomacy and politics. If a Tundrak is not within the Ivae’fenn, they are likely to be found within a government post. Those that join the Bilok’thuln tend to do so as Orrar’sairan, or hunters. Additionally, it is not uncommon to find a Tundrak occupying a religious role, aiding to guide the populace in the worship of Wyrvun.

	Combat Style

The Tundrak Bloodline was the first bloodline to adapt the fighting style of heavy infantry, and has since introduced it to be the main fighting style of the Ivae’fenn, and a staple of all bloodlines. The Tundraks have inherited the rough fighting style of many mercenaries as a result of their time in that profession; although over the years it has become much more formalized and conventional, it is not uncommon for a Tundrak to throw in the occasional dirty attack.

Their favored weapons tend to be spears, spears, and swords, although several Tundraks have opted for warhammers. Another staple of the Ivae’fenn introduced by the Tundraks is the variability in arms and role training. Tundraks are known to have trained to adequacy in many different arms and combat roles. However, since their introduction of varied arms to the Ivae’fenn, the Tundraks have been known to neglect ranged weapons and lighter roles, most commonly opting for heavy infantry or heavy cavalry.

	Politics

Under Aelthos I, the Tundraks essentially founded the conservative stance of Snow Elven politics, and introduced it as the primary ideology of the nation. Emphases were placed upon isolation and religion. However, Aelthos II reversed these trends to take a more liberal stance, along with his successor Aelthir I. In modern times, the Tundraks have overall shifted to a moderate role within Snow Elven politics. Oftentimes, they see it as their duty to serve as naught but mediators within the halls of the Grand Council, and thus are rarely known to take sides on political issues. They will often play devil’s advocate within debate for the sake of ensuring that all lines of thought and action are considered, and additionally take it upon themselves to represent the viewpoints of those without representation upon the Grand Council, including Snow Elves of organized bloodlines and those that do not belong to an organized bloodline. Ultimately, so long as the Grand Council and Mali’fenn as a whole tend to be aligned upon a certain stance, the Tundraks tend to not infringe upon the ideas of the majority.
