“Fear confined, to the depths of my mind — for what could be such a threat to me, the conqueror of time?❞

Formed in the wake of the Infernal Invasion, the Eight Precepts is a council of Eight Descendants who stands strong in the face of whatever dark forces move against the lands. Iconized by their embodiment of the emotions of that infernal war, these warriors, mages, and alchemists have bound together in a tight-knit bond rivaling that of family ties as brothers and sisters at arms. 

The ideals of the Eight Precepts hold them to balance and order; rather than fighting for the light or dark, they walk a path of grey that guides their actions. These ideals are listed below, and are upheld by the Eight themselves. While there are many members in the organization that are not the Eight themselves, the purpose of these handful are to ensure the harmony of the guild and set the directives as needed.

The Eight Precepts currently reside at The Waystone Corporation’s Wayside Tavern, serving as their base of operations on the second floor. Within these times of global safety, they have taken up the pastime of beast hunting, conquering beasts such as the famous Cracadonk or even Prairie Dulks, keeping their fighting edge honed should any dark forces march upon the land of Almaris.

New members, new structures, drinks-a-plenty. Life does thrive.

Sprouting up from the hilltop is now the fine building site of a new apartment complex;

One truly suited to dampen the rising demand for accomodations within Waystone’s age-old walls.

Indeed it blossoms above.

But, below. Something withers.

Way past the minerals. Deep within the rocks. Beasts of old called caves their nest.

Now, atop it, the incessant drilling and hammering by those massive machinations stir the hillside’s core. And something crawled out.

All around and over the dwarven nation’s major notice boards, one would find a poster- A call to action for those who might offer aid.

HELP NEEDED - ARACHNID INFESTATION

The Waydown Mine in Waystone has been taken over by strange spider-like creatures. Eye witnesses report massive size, unnatural for regular spiders. Men and women have gone in, to never return.

We require the services of competent individuals capable of slashing their way through and clearing out the space. You are required to slay any and all arachnids within, as well as their offspring. Do not, however, burn, collapse or overall damage the mines themselves.

A sum of mina will be given out for each spider head brought back. Additionally, any loot or salvage found within the now-abandoned excavation are yours to keep.

Ran by the acclaimed Armakak’s Artificer Dorimnur Goldhand, this established business has a long line of history backing its veracity. The head of the forge has the experience of being the greatest Yemekar’s Pick of Urguan’s history, leading the nation during his nigh-century long tenure from near-total ignorance to a blooming scene of metallurgy to this day.

The Golden Enchantry

History:

For centuries, the Irongut Clan has produced some of the greatest Dwarven mages the descendants have ever seen, from the famed Hiebe Irongut, the first dwarf to use voidal magic, to Balek Irongut the Sorcerer King, to Kardel Irongut, one of the greatest alchemists to have ever lived. 

Following in their footsteps, Falk Irongut, the current Rikkin of Clan Irongut, undertook the task of learning voidal magic, seeking to uphold the legacy of  his forefathers. After decades of studying voidal magics, along with the ancillary skills that accompany the studies of the arcane, Falk Irongut has founded The Golden Enchantry, an arcane workshop through which the wizard focuses his mastery of the arcane to a productive end.
 

Products:

The Golden Enchantry is, first and foremost, dedicated to the creation of enchanted items. We offer custom-made creations from any sub-category of voidal magic, ranging in power from simple firestarters to weapons able to summon great storms of rock and stone. The Enchantry will work with their clients to craft the perfect arcane tool that will fulfill both their needs and their desires.

Prices for enchantments start at 50 mina and scale with difficulty or power of the enchantment. Generally, they are as follows:

• Aesthetic or Utility Enchantments - 100 mina

• Weaker Combative Enchantments - 200 mina

• Stronger Combative Enchantments - 300 mina

• Grand Enchantments - 600 mina

In addition to the wide range of custom arcane items, the Golden Enchantry also offers several immaterial services. These may include: The Creation of Voidal Obelisks, Voidal Connections, Circling Rituals, Aid in Voidal Specializations (such as becoming a Voidal Artificer), Creating Ley-line Networks, Creation of Voidal Focii, etc.

Magni’s Magnus

History:

Beardling Magni Irongut has learned the art of smithing & jewelry from two esteemed crafters in the dwarven captial. First is his father,The Golden Flame Wizard Falk Irongut. The second, his boss Armakak’s Artificer Clan Lord Dorimnur Goldhand. They taught him the way of artistry, and the beardling took an interest in jewelry and trinkets from a very young age; it wasn’t before long that the Irongut Beardling began creating unique artifacts & jewelry pieces in emulation of his teachers, even being commissioned to build the crown for Grand Queen Bryldryn Grandaxe.
It was now time for Magni to start his own venture under Waystone!

Products:

While Magni offers a large collection of day to day jewelry pieces including earrings, rings, bracelets, necklaces, crowns, chains and all kinds of trinkets, Magni’s true specialty is custom commissioned products. These products are tailor-made out of any mineral or material in combination with any gem, designed specially for each client’s desires.

Commissioned products that require collaboration with The Living Forge or The Golden Enchantry might also be requested.

Prices range from 50 to 5000 minas depending on the amount of work required to make them & the value & quality of the finished product, as well as the materials and gemstones that go into construction.

History :

Davli Goldhand. Once a poor orphan freezing to death underneath a tree in frozen wastes of the rymeveld, now a succesfull adventurer, merchant and diplomat.

The Wayside Tavern opens!

Located at Eastfleet, the first groups of businesses for the Waystone Corporation have all centralized around the Wayside Tavern. Situated on the bottom floor of the building and open to all, this tavern serves the finest imports, as well as domestic brews from Dunheim Breweries. Situated within are lavish tables surrounding a elevated platform for plays! The Wayside Tavern is open to any who wish to work or bartend, as well as for aspiring playwrights who wish to entertain and perform for a grand audience. Come and stay a while!

Bazaar

Featuring Maelstrom Trading Co. as our first mercantile store owners, there are 4 total stalls, with 2 available for foreign businesses to come sell their wares at this hotspot of mercantilism... without any taxes! Talk directly to the Wayfather himself to talk about terms and conditions. 

As well, the ability to gather commissions shall also come from this great Bazaar! Each business that is available for selling wares offers here, in forms of paper slips that passerby's may purchase and then meet with the owners of each Business that is selling. The Golden Enchantry

Ran by the Irongut Sorceror who follows in the footfalls of Kardel himself, Falk Irongut, the Golden Flame Wizard, has opened his Enchantry! Master of warping reality to his whim, this magical shop of marvels bears an immense voidal obelisk that allows he and his workers to create works far better than the common rudimentary enchantments that are highly innovative! As well, for the most generous of recurring patrons may be allowed to purchase magical objects of the highest degree of rarity and secrecy…

The Spark

A craftsman business of Alchemy and Alchemical constructions, Rylanor Goldhand’s The Spark hosts marvels of alchemy found nowhere else! Here you may find yourself in wonder at what the metal dwarf has manufactured, and you too can own such creations! The Eight Precepts

A group of individuals gathered from the corners of the lands, the Eight Precepts united under the cause of maintaining the balance and peace of the lands. Risen from the ashes of the Inferi War, this group now seeks out each and every threat to Almaris wherever it may come from and no matter the foe, no matter the cost.
