As the two kingdoms slowly begin to merge into one, unity and strength are paramount. Today, we are pleased to address our collective efforts towards forging a cohesive and unified military force, a cornerstone of our national security and a testament to our shared commitment between both kingdoms to protect our land and people.

In recent years, almost spanning a decade, the Crown and the military command of this confederation have been planning the standardization of protocols in which we strive to achieve better coordination and cohesiveness between the military branches. The claimed lands of Drusco shall be converted into a military compound where the newly established Order of St. Peter and the Legion of St. Godwin shall be jointly based out of.

The unification of our various military organizations only serves to strengthen our nation, we enhance our capability to respond to threats, support our allies and uphold peace within our borders and beyond. 

This endeavor is guided by several key principles:

Strength: We recognize the unique strengths and skills of the Order of St. Peter and The Legion of St. Godwin. Through training and joint operations, we aim to leverage these strengths, ensuring that every military member complements one another, creating a robust and versatile force.

Standardization: Establishing standardized patrols, protocols, and training across all military branches will not only streamline operations but also elevate our overall efficiency and effectiveness to counteract any internal and external threats. For the two military branches to work together, they must train together, fight together, and learn together.

Communication and Coordination: Effective communication is the backbone of any successful military operation. We are implementing advanced communication systems (bells), and protocols to ensure seamless coordination across all levels of command, fostering a culture of transparency and swift decision-making

Unified Leadership and Vision: Strong, unified leadership is essential to guide our military through the complexities of warfare. The Knight Commander and The Lord Marshal stand together to ensure that the next generation of military leadership is prepared to take the mantle when the time comes.

As we move forward, the unification of our military forces will not only bolster our defense capabilities but also symbolize our nation’s unity and resolve. It is through this collective strength that we will continue to safeguard our sovereignty, contribute to the peace and stability within the realm of man, and inspire confidence among our citizens.

As the military organizations of this dual-kingdom come together to organize and standardize military practices and protocols, so too shall the command structure change. In an effort to ensure we are quick to respond to external or internal situations, the Knight Commander and The Lord Marshal have agreed that shared authority must be granted. This collaborative structure is designed to promote unity and the effectiveness of joint operations between the two military branches.

Henceforth,

The Knight Commander has and always will have sole authority over their Knights, but in their absence the rank of Captain  and above may command the Knights of the Order of St. Peter. 

In the absence of a Legionary, the Knights of St. Peter shall have authority to command the rank of Man-At-Arms and below.

Legionaries and Knights are considered to have the same authority and cannot command each other. If the Legion is working in the region of a Seated Knight, the Knight has the power to command Legionaries.
