BENEATH the watchful gaze of the Lord, undertaken in prayerful contemplation, His Princely Highness, Philipp of  Ivöria, has ordered a structural reform of the administration of his properties in order to align its functions with the terrible and purposeful servitude rendered to His Imperial Majesty. The reorganization of the  Ivörian government shall take effect upon the promulgation of this document.

THE PRIVY OF MINISTERS 

The Privy of Ministers serves as  Ivöria’s main Government, keeping the Princedom in order under the Princep’s decree. Currently, four positions are official and recognized as part of the Council.

The Archminister | Cassandra Briar

Tasked with overseeing the capital of  Ivöria and its internal affairs, the Archminister leads the Privy under the Princeps. This role serves as the right hand to both Princeps and is the highest government position within  Ivöria.

The Korpskommandant | Siegfried von Schwanstein

Leading the Ivory Company stands the Korpskommandant. Second only to the Princeps, this position stands as the main defense within the Princedom. They oversee the entire Company which includes taking on new guards, promotions, planning defenses and shotcalling. 

The Minister of Stewardry | Alistair von Treuberg

Holding the master keys to the entirety of  Ivöria, the Minister of Stewardry sells any and all properties. Because of this, they are also in charge of collecting everyone's taxes and giving out eviction notices.

The Minister of Affairs | Conrad Jorg Keen

A master of networking, the Minister of Affairs is tasked with handling international relations regarding all of the Vassals within the Empire. This  includes meeting with important figures, public appearances, scheduling audiences, and managing the reputations within  Ivöria.

THE PEERAGE OF  IVÖRIA

After a review of the roll of the peerage, His Princely Highness has ordered the abeyance of all titles and estates within the realm not presently possessed by the Princeps, with the exception of the following:

A two year period will be allowed for any claimants of an  Ivörian peerage to petition the Princeps for a return of the titles and estates.

It is easy to discount attempts of restoration. Since the Esheveurd of old and of recent descent, we’ve witnessed too many regimes simply failing in the scale of their predecessor. No one can estimate the great loss we have suffered in the Ashford name endlessly sullied by pretenders. Often, there is little legitimacy to claimants, in a line diluted by an abundance of renowned family ties.

The Keens thrived under Savoyard rule, and paid heed to the reformations of its time. Close in the courts, we witnessed what greatness could have been under the Ashford sun, if it had not availed scheme after scheme that brought about its ruin. 

In witnessing a recent claimant to the Ashford line, so proclaimed ‘Patriarch-Dynast of Ashford’, prompted concern and confusion. And yet, we examined, we deliberated, we sought for any flaw that might derail his name. We found none. As it stands, the one Robert Lysander Ashford de Rouen stands above the scattered remnants of the Esheveurd diaspora. In name, bearing, and right, he fulfills the measure required to return greatness to a dying legacy.

THE PRINCIPATE OF IVORIA

The Principate of Ivoria is happy to announce to the general public that the state is in search of a court alchemist!

The Task of  Court Alchemist shall primarily be the brewing of potions. The alchemical supplies, including herbs and alchemical lab shall be provided.

Once employed, the Court Alchemist is expected, whenever brewing potions for Ivoria, to use the facilities within the city of Gottenthal to do so.

The Position shall be granted a yearly salary of 25 minas a week, including commissions per each complicated potion.

The state is primarily seeking an alchemist who has already mastered their craft, however, those who are still learning may yet apply for such.

Any person may apply, the state seeks not to discriminate on any basis, for this is a position of merit.

All interested parties are invited to send a bird to the Earl Lamention Vindelion (Ign: Kardika), afterwhich which they shall be invited to Ivoria to conduct a public interview.

Effective immediately, Ser Gneaus Serforus is elevated to the position of Lord Prefect. He is entrusted to all of the responsibilities of the position, and the expectations of stewardship relevant to the Ivori Revenue Service.

As his first charge, all properties within the confines of the city shall be inspected and cleansed from the remnants and touches of the traitor.

The Principate of Ivoria declares the following government appointments and changes:

✧ The goodly Lord Adrian Sarkozic is appointed as the Archminister of the Principate, whose word shall be second to the Princeps in both name and seal. All ministerial matters shall be organized through him, including holding the bureaucracy accountable for corruption and deceit. 

Further, the responsibility of organizing regency, previously under the Lady Prefect’s responsibilities, are transferred to the Archminister. The Lady Prefect Heylise Vindelion shall remain in her role mainly as the steward and secretary of Gottenthal.

✧ The goodly Peter di Alessandria shall be appointed to and charged with the Ministry of Letters, as permitted by the recent vacancy of the post. He shall be tasked as a Minister of Truth and value among our native population, ensuring that GOD and His values remain foremost to all’s eyes and ears. Further, he is permitted promotion to the Ehrengarde by virtue of his post.

✧ The goodly Alexandra Graylace, previously known as Ila the High Elf, has been appointed as the caretaker of the Temple of St Lucien’s Clinic, to be charged with the upkeep of Ivoria’s medical endeavours.

✧ The Knightly Ser Arkel Vanfer Tor is officialized as Oberst of the Order of the White Elephant in tandem with Ser Meili Altwegg, fixed as the Ivory Company’s High Command.

Her rulings and those under her office shall act in accordance with all secular matters in tandem with the Church of GOD.

CHEESE. A gift of the divine, a treasure of the Ivöri, and a blessing from the Most Holy.

Revered across lands and graced by the palate of the fortunate, cheese epitomizes the culinary artistry of the Ivöri people. Yet, amidst all the cheeses of the world, none can rival the splendor of those born of Mount Vindicta. Here, in the heart of Ivoria, generations of cheesecraft have been perfected, with manifold blessings bestowed upon each wheel to achieve a perfection once only known to the famous Ivöri centurion, the Fat Chef Frank. 

The time has come to immortalize the wonders of our cheese and to shield its legacy from the rising threat of imitation. With this Edict of Fromagerie, the Principate seeks to enshrine the standards of Ivöri cheesecraft, ensuring that no pretender may tarnish our art nor diminish the esteem in which it is held. 

I. ON ACCESS

I.I - Access to the sacred Ivöri cheese aging chamber, housed within our caves, are restricted. Those wishing entry must submit a formal petition to the Ivöri Ministry of Land Affairs, after which the title of cheesemaker is bestowed.

I.II - Visitors to the cheesemaking cave must don ceremonial aprons switched with appropriate emblems, and refrain from wearing colognes or perfumes while near the rinds.

I.III - Whistling, excessive breathing, and debates within the chamber are strictly prohibited, and will result in a cheeseban.

II. ON CHEESEMAKING

All cheesemakers of Ivor are expected to uphold certain standards.

II.I - Only milk from cows and goats grazing on the natural pastures of Mount Vindicta may be used, unless otherwise blessed by the HIGH PRIEST and GOD Almighty

II.II - Cheeses must be produced using untainted and unaffected milk.

II.III - The aging process must occur within the official Ivöri Aging Cave for a minimum of 120 days.

II.IV - Only copper vats may be used, if aged correctly

II.V - Cheese wheels must be brushed with Jonesbrand Ivöri brine solution, present in the cave

II.VI - Cheese must present with proper eyes and holes

II.VII - Finished cheese must be taste tested with a minimum of four witnesses and the final approval of a member of the Princeps family

III. ON FROMAGERIE

III.I - To establish fromagerie, a cheesemaker must petition to the Ritterherr of Gottenthal or the Princeps.

III.II - Cheeses sold must be of Ivöri origin, subject to the aforementioned standards

III.III - Cheeses must be stored in a way that properly reflects the caves from which they originate, with presentation secondary

III.IV - Wheels must be set on wood shelves to avoid uneven aging

III.V - A small prayer corner or blessing station must be included, or a sign with written prayers, to reflect and pray on the blessing that is cheese

INTERNAL GOVERNMENT OF THE PRINCIPATE

Governance without counsel is a pathway to ruin. The Ivöri people have long embraced a decentralized system of authority, entrusted to the Lords and their Knights who govern the cantons. In the seat of Ivoria, the Ritterherr of Gottenthal wields unquestioned autonomy, second only to the word of the Princeps and the Lord God’s Vicars. Yet, it is the Privy of Ministers—those closest to the heart of Ivoria—who safeguard the principate’s stability. Each minister holds a sacred station, overseeing critical domains from the military to the economy, ensuring the Ivöri Creed remains afoot in every aspect of our lives.

Ministers and members of the Ivori bureaucracy are directly appointed, holding their positions until death, resignation, or removal by the Princeps.

Lady Prefect
The Lady Prefect serves as the steward of the privy, overseeing the organization of Ivoria’s ministries and lands to ensure the Principate’s smooth governance. This seat is held by Lady Heylise Vindelion.

She is charged with

• Coordinating with Ivoria’s ministries to ensure their logistical operations and needs are effectively managed.
• Acting as the representative for both the Ivöri Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Housing.
• Assuming additional duties during times of conflict, including liaising with and promoting the Principate’s designated regent to uphold stability and order.

The Minister of Domestic Affairs and Bureaucracy
The Minister of Domestic Affairs and Bureaucracy is the central authority responsible for upholding and strengthening the internal structures of Ivoria, ensuring they remain orderly and efficient in alignment with the divine order willed by GOD. This role is vital in transforming disorder into harmony, reflecting the Creator's intent. This seat is held by Ser Charles Reye.

He is charged with:

• Maintaining an official ledger of government activities and overseeing appointments.
• Managing and organizing the Inquisition, Courts, and the broader legal system.
• Supervising the Ritterherr and ensuring their adherence to laws and administrative duties.

The Grand Minister of Contractors
The Minister of Contractors is responsible for delegating and overseeing contracted services within the Ivöri Principate. His role ensures that all operating forces are properly regulated, maintained, and recorded within the official ledger. This seat is held by Ser Sigismund Arazi.

He is charged with:

• Overseeing the Ivory Company, Ivoria’s military force.
• Moderating mercenary companies operating within Ivori lands.
• Coordinating with foreign entities seeking contracts with Ivoria.

The Minister of Letters
The Minister of Letters is the central authority overseeing all written materials and media within the Ivöri Principate, ensuring that communication reflects the values and vision of the realm. This seat is held by Lord Adrian Sarkozic.

He is charged with

• Supervising the creation and dissemination of official proclamations, decrees, and other governmental publications.
• Managing the Principate’s reputation and ensuring public enlightenment is never hindered 
• Reviewing and approving literature and media internal and external to ensure alignment with the principles of the Ivöri Creed and the interests of Ivoria

The Minister of Land Affairs
The Minister of Land Affairs is entrusted with the stewardship, organization, and development of all lands within Ivoria’s domain. This office is endowed with the authority to oversee architectural endeavors and deliberate on the most effective infrastructural solutions. This seat is held by Lord Lamention Vindelion.

He is charged with

• Establishing and maintaining land partitioning rules for individuals and groups to ensure proper use and growth.
• Preserving a thematic and efficient architectural style throughout Ivoria.
• Leading the development of essential infrastructure to promote the wellbeing and advancement of Ivoria.

The Minister of Trade
The Minister of Trade serves as the authority responsible for advancing and refining Ivoria’s trade operations. This seat is vacant.

He/She is charged with

• Overseeing imports and exports
• Setting tariffs, managing finances, and regulating prices to maximize revenue
• Holding the final say on all contracts and agreements related to trade.

The recent Reinmaren encroachment upon Ivöri soil is a sacrilegious affront to the sanctity of Ivor’s quarters, though the duty to eradicate shadowmancy remains paramount. In recognition of Pontiff Caius and his disciples—and their fervent commitment to the Vander way, even as it intruded upon our own—we hereby decree the following:

Vindacus and his remains are to be expelled from Ivoria until amends are made with the Church. The mantle of governance and the position of Ritterherr of Gottenthal is hereby extended by Princeps' appointment to Lamention, henceforth Lord Lamention, in recognition of his competence and immense support to the Ivori way. By the authority of Vindacus' will and the rights of kinship, he shall further assume stewardship of all holdings formerly under Vindacus’ domain.

Appointment of a Ritterherr

With the establishment of a permanent seat and the final restoration of the sunken lands of our settlement, the time has come to honor our ancient titles and build anew. It was Vindacus who first forged the foundation of our city and, through time, proved steadfast in his tactic and resolve.

Thus, Lord Vindacus, as he shall henceforth be styled, is hereby appointed as the Ritterherr of Gottenthal. He shall serve as the canton's foremost governor, acting directly under the authority of the Princeps to oversee its affairs and uphold order within its walls. He is granted lordship over the land, to be held until death or voluntary abdication of his station.

Further, the Princeps, in agreement with Lord Vindacus, hereby assigns one Heylise Brisset as Gottenthal's Prefect, tasked with the stewardship and logistics of the land and its people. We pray that GOD blesses her manifold for her involvement and contributions, crucial to the perseverance of our state.

A principled people abide not by false guides, for we are a people of discernment, steadfast in our devotion to ways long tarnished by corruption, and graced with BLESSINGS MANIFOLD from the Almighty. With the completion of our blessed temple, and in fulfillment of our sacred duty to provide divine and fatherly guidance to our people, the Ivori Principate announces the recognition of our people’s spiritual Guide, Father John: he who laid the very bricks of our temple, planned its sacred spaces, and guided our people in prayers and hymns throughout the construction of our city.

We do recognize him as:

1. Abbot of the Temple of St. Lucien:
   • Until our people are granted an independent diocese, Father John is hereby formally recognized as the Abbot and Prior of the Temple of St. Lucien. He is entrusted with guiding our sacred rites, including marriages, funerals, prayers, and processions. Moreover, he shall steward the monastery, elevating it to ever greater heights.
2. Chaplain of the Courts of Venetia:
   • Father John is hereby designated as the Chaplain of the Courts of Venetia, tasked with the spiritual well-being and moral guidance of those who serve within our cultural community.
3. Liaison to the Order of St. Lucien:
   • As Chapter Prior of the Order of the Grail of St. Lucien, Father John is further entrusted as a liaison between the Ivori forces and the Order of St. Lucien, ensuring that heretics, apostates, and apparitions are identified, punished, and exiled from our lands.

Our children are guided only by those with equanimity and purpose in their station. Just as we followers of St. Lucien admit no false prophet before the eyes of the Lord, so too shall we allow no false shepherd or deceiver to claim dominion over our flock.
