We ask all the electorate in the Principality of Curon to duly and properly elect the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Cyrilsburg from among those candidates who have thus far declared their candidacy. They shall, upon their election, assume office and begin to immediately implement necessary reforms in the city. They shall serve as chief executive officers of the Cyrilsburg Municipal Government, leading the stewardry and other local officials, under the oversight of the Chancellor.

The election is to begin today. All those who vote will be catalogued and checked against existent records. To qualify to vote, one must not necessarily own land, but they must have an active presence in the Principality. The August Administration shall investigate all votes, and ensure there is no voter fraud. In five Saint’s Days, a winner shall be announced. A ceremony shall be held wherein His Excellency the Mayor assumes office, and a celebration will commence posthaste.

"It is with great pleasure that I release to the public, this speech, entitled 'The People's Interest', penned by none other than myself." 

He started off, then going on to pluck a rolled diploma from his surcoat, and unrolling it, to read its contents. 

"The People's Interest. Allow me to lay forth to you the Mayoral Candidates who are actually for The People's Interest, and not just some title to flaunt and do nothing with: Matthew de Cantwell and his Deputy. Myself, Véres Draskovits, and my Deputy. Leila Rubens and her Deputy. Now, do I want to win the Mayorship? Well, yes, it'd be great. Though I will be content if I am to not win it this time around, as I have done the majority of what I wished to achieve with forming the Municipal Government alongside Sylvestre. I just wish one thing, and that is that the Citizenry not allow The Fallen Noble and The Fraudulent King residence in the, or any, highly influential office. At the least, the other two main candidates are reasonable people. I'm sure that if I do not obtain the Mayorship then my ideas will still be heard and taken into consideration by beforementioned parties. 

I'm going to lay out a plethora of ideologies about the candidates that I mentioned before:

• They care about the Militia Prowess of the Principality of Curon, not the well-being of the City of Cyrilsburg and her delicacies, and should henceforth not be running for Mayor, but instead enlist in the Military and ascend through those circumstances, to prove themselves worthy. 
• I do not like name-calling most of the time, but under this circumstance, I feel it is necessary. The parties are self-entitled and childish, as well as having quite the constant ego. The attitude as seen in these two is not a common trait in a leader unless you refer to Philip Frederick and clearly indicates that neither one of these candidates should obtain a role in this office per their mentality as a whole.

Now that we have that aside, I find it a fitting time for the supposed and glorious self-worshipping that comes with running for Public Office."

He shared a chuckle with those gathered, as he continued.

"If I were elected Mayor of Cyrilsburg, with Benjamin Kalehart as my Deputy, I would ensure that the lack of Architecture is taken care post-haste, as the City does not look appealing in certain spots. The grass is dead, and the decor and flora merely do not exist. I will not pretend that this is the only problem, as it is not. I will either A: lower the prices of properties and increase taxing or B: decrease taxing and increase the pricing of properties. It would take some discussion with the Stewards of the Municipal Government, and various opinions from that of the Citizenry. Perhaps even a vote could be taken up.  This would greatly affect the common peasantry in a positive manner. You may say... Véres, you've held Public Office and currently are the officeholder of Deputy Mayor of Cyrilsburg, you don't need another run. This is a valid point, but I do not have as much power as my successor, the Mayor, has and cannot, therefore, accomplish as many things as I would like to at times. I will continue to hold Public Office even if not allowed this most honorable Position, as Secretary of the Royal Household, but my forté is within the complete opposite of the Municipal Government in such a case. Ideally, I will still uphold my position as a Steward if not elected into office, where I can at the least have an adept amount of input.

I said all this to say: Vote Véres Draskovits and Benjamin Kalehart 'For Cyrilsburg will Prosper'."

He then stepped down from his podium, going to tie the red ribbon up. One of his supporters grabbed the podium as Véres waved to the crowd of people and headed onwards to the Office of the Mayor.

The City of Cyrilsburg is the center of the Principality of Curon, as its capital and the seat of the Prince. As the August Administration's leadership is tasked with national policy, international diplomacy, and more, the Cyrilsburg Municipal Government administrates the capital. This government is headed by a Mayor, and the Mayor is elected by the Curonian populace. He oversees the stewardry and other municipal officials. As our first Mayor's term comes to a close, we once more seek good candidates.

We do thus reach out to those esteemed citizens of Curon that would seek out this office, and enter a life of public service. The Administration doth require that each candidate prepare a speech, printing it upon posters, and distributing it across the nation. After a few Saint's Days, all candidates shall be allowed to hold a public debate. We encourage like minded individuals to approach the Administration if they intend on forming internal polities of any variety - political groupings, parties, or what have you.

One may at first declare their candidacy alone, but it mustn't stay that way for long. By the time of the election, we expect a split ticket. This means that both a Mayor and Deputy Mayor are joined together, and hold one place on the ballot. For example, mayoral candidate Jerry and his deputy mayoral candidate Jim would run together, and if one wanted to vote for them, they would vote for both of them. Partners may declare their candidacy together, but if a candidate cannot find a partner, they may declare an open candidacy now, and seek to make a political alliance with another lonesome candidate, merging their campaigns before the election takes place.

After the Mayoral Debate, the public vote will be tallied. Thenceforth, we shall hold a ceremony of commission for the newly elected Mayor and his Deputy Mayor, and welcome them to their new office. They will answer to the Chancellor, and will largely be in charge of helping lead the new administrative and municipal reforms, promoting a safer, more prosperous Cyrilsburg. After such leaders are selected, we shall also be seeking out a number of new stewards, and others, to be welcomed into the employ of the Cyrilsburg Municipal Government, as it is an ever growing organization.

"Hello."

 He simply started off, then going on to clear his throat,

 "I find it detrimental to my Campaign that there are such suggestions that nothing has been done within my time as the officeholder of Deputy Mayor of Cyrilsburg. Now, while my absence has been suggested, I've done, much like other administrative influencers, behind the scenes work that cannot be viewed by the common citizenry. For example, I can speak on this without revealing much, but I've actively helped in the drafting of the Cyrilic Codex with His Excellency, The Chancellor of Curon, Ser Sylvester of the House Halcourt. I've introduced fifty individuals to the ranks of Cyrilsburg, I've interviewed and brought to hire three Stewards to the Municipal Government, if not more, within my time as the man-in-office of Deputy Mayor. Working alongside The Mayor of Curon, Sylvester III of House Halcourt, we've accomplished many things whether it be little things such as pasting signs upon the market stalls for proper documentation of them or selling a single house. It's pity that our work has gone unnoticed. I serve the people of Curon, and I'm fully open to criticism, so if you have anything you would like to see done that you dictate unfinished, do not hesitate to send me a bird or something of that capacity. Keep in mind that I still have a few days or so until the new heads of the Municipal Government will be chosen, and can do whatever it is that's asked of me from the Citizenry within boundaries."

Véres halted, holding up his right hand.

"I"m not finished yet, allow me to criticize my fellow candidates. First, I will begin with Stephanos. Ahh, Stephanos. The Fallen Noble. If we cannot deem it wise for him to uphold his own Noble House, nor his titles, how can we deem it wise for him to uphold the City of Cyrilsburg? We cannot. That is the simple answer. I have nothing against Matthew de Cantwell. In fact, I would vote for him should I not be in the running."

He took just a brief moment to take a drink of water from a tankard that was handed up to him from one of his supporters. 

"Thomas de Hartcold. The Fraudulent King. I have nothing generous to say about this man. His wife, on the other hand, is a liberal woman, I must say. He trots around and brags he has more men in his ranks than Curon. Not only a fraud but a liar. If he were elected as Mayor of Cyrilsburg, it would not prosper. It would fall to a stalemate. He would do no good for our good City or her people. He threw a fit when it was announced that his false 'Kingdom' would be demoted to that of a Barony, which my judgment does not merit."

Véres rolled his shoulders as another of his supporters asked his opinion on the new candidates of the Rubens lineage.

"I have no opinion. as I've never met these individuals. Perhaps a thought or two will form in the near future."

He quirked a brow as a document was handed to him, of the Rubens announcing their campaign. After reading over it he announced.

"We're much alike, running against The Fallen Noble, and Fraudulent King. I will note, however, that the Holy Mother made it apparent of her support for me last election, and quickly turned to the winning side. I hold no grudge, but I am a bit pungent at the fact. I conclude today with wishing the Rubens good luck on their Campaign."

The man stepped down finally, smiling at the citizens before him

"Vote Véres, For Cyrilsburg will Prosper."

William and Leila stand together in the town square each with words well prepared and memorized. The siblings are dressed in elegant attire and hold excellent posture, warm smiles fixed across their faces. Leila steps up onto a small crate William places down for her, chin raising some before she begins to speak.

“Dearest citizens of Cyrilsburg, my brother and I stand before you today to unfold my plans for the upcoming mayoral election, should you all decide my brother and I worthy to be elected as your mayor and deputy mayor!

It has come to our attention that, while glorious, our fine city still has plenty of room for improvement, and we want to work hard, with you and for you, in order to implement the right systems and solutions to help strengthen our beautiful city.

We shall work on improving the city, both by increasing its splendor by means of decoration, and by providing the possibility of acquiring grander housing to those citizens who, due to their hard and diligent work, have gained themselves the currency to afford it.

We believe that the taxation has grown ridiculous, and are opting to cut this taxation in half, even if that means that we must pay for such expenses. Those wanting to settle in our fair city, especially those displaced due to the war should never be obstructed by the inability to pay for our housing.

We must streamline our government services, starting with the military. A strong military is the backbone of any healthy nation, and those who cannot protect themselves cannot thrive. We will opt for better commanding officers, and better recruiting procedures, in addition to more frequent training to keep our military in top shape and our citizens, your families and friends safer than ever before. And after that, we must fix our current stewarding issues. It seems they are never available when needed, and in order to straighten that out, we shall hold meetings whenever possible to discuss their work and their ideas of improvements which need to be made to the housing situation in our dear Cyrilsburg, though they already should have been doing so.

In the event that my brother and I are elected to office, I can assure that life in Cyrilsburg will be prosperous and bountiful with spectacular events; tourneys, balls, and carnivals!

I do appreciate your patience and willingness to listen, and I pray you will make the right decision to vote for the both of us, in order to rebuild our Cyrilsburg, and keep it strong. Thank you!”

Leila hops down and steps to the side, allowing for her brother to take the spot on the crate. William then begins a speech of his own, wearing a grin.

“Please, dearest citizens, think long and hard about the words my sister has spoken. We come before you with the promise of a better Cyrilsburg; a promise that we all know the other candidates cannot uphold.

We run against Stephanos and Thomas Hartcold. Stephanos is a man who cares naught for tradition and has married outside of the church, bribing a false priest to do so. By his wives own confession he is a man with no compassion. How can we rely on a man who is apathetic towards others to care for our populace, especially in this time of need?

His deputy too, one of the Hartcolds, are known well for his sin and debauchery, and an inability to stabilize his own barony nor his own marriage. Would we really entrust the progression of our beautiful city to a man who cannot run his own? Thomas de Hartcold can barely keep his wife and his bastard daughter in check, we should not be foolish enough to let him try to keep us in check too. He is an ambitious man I will give him that, however, his ambition is meaningless and crumbles quickly, as demonstrated by the swift rate that his ‘Kingdom’ collapsed.

Now for Veres Draskovits. He has been our deputy mayor for several years now, the progression of Curon ever stagnant in his wake. Draskovits now aspires to become the mayor and not merely a deputy. A foolish notion. He will implement nothing but slow and pointless change, and drag the citizens of Curon through another stale term. What achievements has Veres under his belt to prove that he is better than his predecessors? None.

It is time that the good people of Cyrilsburg are cared for by competent leaders. It is time that you, the good people of Cyrilsburg, cast your vote in favor of my sister and I. With us we bring a time of prosperity. With us, we bring a brighter future for the city of Cyrilsburg.

Again, we thank you for your patience and for listening to what we had to say. Take care beautiful people of

Cyrilsburg!”

The holy mother would step onto a scarlet-coloured box, lifting her eyes to the people of Cyrilsburg.

"Good people of Curon, it is proudly that I proclaim my support for Leila Rubens in the mayoral election. She and her brother, whom will be actively aiding her in her endeavours as her deputy mayor, have shown continual diligence and compassion. I do think that I speak on behalf of the Church of the Canon when I say Curon has lingered in darkness since the fall of Karl. From my office in the Grand Abbey of Judzcya, I read about and acknowledged the various candidates in this election, and the Emmantine Council and I reached some sound conclusions. The world spirals; the people fight and the undead rise, the heathen spits on the holy and the holy bashes the heathen. Curon spins in constant peril; from the unruly bandits gaining access to gates unmanned, gravens and black creatures spreading corruption in our squares, and politicians whom retain no respect for their families or their GOD. The Emmantine Council wished to act. The bread of the sisters would not cure the splitting plague that had been slithering up through Cyrilsburg. Something more would have to be done.

Her Serene Highness, Linette Devereux, has proven to be a beacon of integrity and sound judgment since her coronation as princess-consort of Curon. In the absences of the Prince of Curon, she has moved through her country and offered counsel, support, and a familiarity to to the tertiary government of the principality. I, a humble servant of GOD, sought the advice of the princess-consort on who to support in this mayoral election. Ladies and gentlemen, after my deliberate thought and consideration, I am honored to announce that I will be acting as campaign manager on the board of Rubens. Unlike the other candidates, our intentions will be to put active change and reform into the communities of Curon. The sisters and brothers of the Church will be running food drives, charity events, and schools under the patronship of the princess-consort and Leia and William Rubens. These endeavours are simply apart of a greater scheme run by the good Rubens campaign, illustrating clearly that our intentions are to bring constant growth and activity to this city. For more thorough descriptions of our intentions, refer to the manuscripts of the candidacy speech.

The transparency between the people and the government has been somewhat blurred in the recent years. Requests are made, bad situations demand immediate change, and yet nothing is done. I do not doubt the capacity, strength and ambition of this country, for I know well of the stretch of her glory. A vote for the Rubens is a vote for immediate and active involvement with the people. Good people of Curon, you will know who leads this country, you will know their intentions, and you will know the direction of your home. Women like Linette and Leila, and men like William and Constantine, are those who do not hide behind gilded facades.

Lastly, ladies and gentlemen, it is commonly aware that those who run in this campaign, men like Thomas de Hartcold and Veres Draskovits, are items of the authoritative body of Curon already. There effects on this society have been controversial. During the prosperous leadership of Karl Devereux, Thomas de Hartcold was an illy-spoken name amongst Cyrilsburg and the Church. Soon after, he proclaimed himself a king of a nation on the other side of the continent. A king of falsehoods and tents. Veres Draskovits is a good man, yet during his time in office, he has done little for this country. His achievements are dismal and scarce, and I fear that Curon will never see true reform under a man who is content with the country as is. He led us here, ladies and gentlemen. And yet the turbulence Curon faces each day is louder than ever.

A vote is powerful. On behalf of the Rubens campaign, we trust you will wield it wisely and cast for our candidates. Thank you."

He stepped up to his own self-constructed box once more, addressing a select few citizens as he looked around and observed the crowd, "I'm pleased you could all make it today. As you can tell, I'm running once more for the Mayorship of Cyrilsburg. Let me first affirm why it would be a good idea to place me within this office: experience. I've worked hand-in-hand as Sylvester III, as his Deputy Mayor throughout his entire term and have accomplished many things. I've hired Stewards, and updated City documentation. The upkeep of the City has been handled very nicely. I've also, on a separate note, been chosen for the office of Secretary of the Royal Household, where I work with Her Serene Highness to coordinate things such as the Royal Ball that was hosted not too long ago in light of the Heir to Curon's birth. I've noticed that the City has lacked with decor as of lately, and there are too often bland splotches in the most random of places. If I were elected, this would be fixed post-haste. I would form an entourage to work with the architects in order to get the required resources for such and we would, with the help of volunteers, work for the betterment of the appearance of Cyrilsburg. Along with a few aesthetic errors, there are many internal errors with the Municipal Government. We promised more jobs, where has that proposal went? Nowhere, and nowhere exactly. It would be my pleasure to help get jobs out to our Citizens, especially if it benefits our very own government."

He cleared his throat, pausing for a moment and then allowing his voice to boom once more,

"I've not picked a Deputy Mayor to run with me, though if there's anyone interested at all, then you can most often times find me at the Draskovits Manor just past the City Square, or I'm always available by bird. Along with a Deputy Mayor, I'm also looking for a Campaign Manager that will work alongside myself to help with my Campaign this time around, once more, just send a bird or find me if you're interested in either of these positions. I conclude today, Curonians, that if you choose me as your next Mayor, you will not be sorry."

He then stepped down, as he waved to the people surrounded, and started off back towards home. The makeshift box would continue in the Square.

  A man in full red can be seen in the city’s square. He uses a small box and stands on it in order to draw everyone’s attention. Stephanos raises both of his hands on the air and clears his throat before he began talking to the rather large crowd, “My brothers, I welcome you and thank you from the deepest of my heart for lending me your ears for a moment. As most of you know, this is my second Mayoral Speech, I have to admit I did not expect such success for my first speech.” The man chuckles, clearing his throat once again, “My brothers and sisters, as you have noticed yourselves the bandit attacks may have been reduced, but waves of undead and other vile creatures tend to enter our glorious city. Even after my speech, the mayor did not bother to create a Town Guard in order to guard the city and protect. I am aware that our army is busy enough with patrolling around the lands in order to keep the bandits out, but just that is not enough. Our Marshal is doing a great job, but still it is not enough. As I said before, Ser Sylvestre III instead of creating a Town Guard, he immediately  ran to ‘attack’ me. This is my response to him: Resign so the elections may commence at once so I and my Deputy, Baron Thomas de Hartcold can bring Cyrilsburg back to it’s former Glory. You, my fellow citizens, give me the required strength to continue this race and finish it. ‘My strength, the love of the people’” The man stops talking and lowers his hands, stepping down of the box and goes to shake hands with the gathering. “Let them strike now, it proves how much of a great threat we are to them” He chuckles and continues doing shaking hands with the citizens.

"Friends, Curonians, countrymen, lend me your ears. I wish to inform you that I am not cut out for politics, and that I wish all of those who wished to support me to seek another; perhaps my uncle, Matthew de Cantwell. I love Curon and I love it's people. Ave Curon."

"People of Curon, lend me your eyes. It is with great regret that I, Baroness Auralia de Hartcold of Adylith, must resign from the running as Matthew de Cantwell's Deputy Mayor. My reasons for this are not well, as my barony remains under threat from pirates and other such nonsense. Earlier this Saint's Day, a group of pirates attacked Adylith, and two people were captured. One was put on the cross, the other managed to run off with a back wound and hands bound by chain. I must handle damage control and lead my people safely and effectively. I do wish Matthew well in his campaign, and will keep Curon in my prayers."

“Friends, Allies and fellow Countrymen. Lend me your ears for a brief moment of your time. I, Thomas de Hartcold, am running as Stephanos Palaiologos’ deputy mayor. It has come to my both of our attentions that the Gatehouse of Cryilsburg is severely under manned allowing bandits and criminals to easily walk in and steal from our civilians. This has to stop! We can not have our civilians being bullied by some outsiders, to do this we must increase our guardforce. Many a time I have been in the city and have been attacked by bandits with the guards simply turning a blind eye. It is their duty to protect not to ignore. So I hereby say Vote for Stephanos Palaiologos for a safer and secure Cyrilsburg!”

Matthew de Cantwell would have Auralia push a small crate into the square. He would place his metal boots as he stood on it shouting to the crowd, "My fellow Curonians, gather around! I am Matthew de Cantwell for those of you who do not know. I plan to run as your future mayor of this fine city we call home. As your mayor I shall hold events to increase our activity, to bring others from far and wide to witness our greatness. These events shall bring revenue and tourism to our great city. Many will come from miles around just to hear our preaching.

I shall as well enforce better patrols, at day and night, to protect us from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. For too many of our people have fallen victim to such attacks. No more I say, no more.

Our taxes will be lowered, so you can keep more money in your pocket to feed your starving children. With the lower taxes, we can lower the homeless population. No more will we see beggars on the streets, no more will we say poverty in our fair city. We shall clean up these streets, for I have the broom and you have the dust pan."

He would pause for a moment, before chanting, "For the people, by the people!"

As he stepped down, Auralia stepped up onto the crate. "I ,Auralia, shall run as Matthew's deputy mayor. Along side him I will help assist him in the tasks he has layed out for himself. Together, alongside him, we shall clean up these streets we call home. Together we will rid our city of the fowl vermin that crawl in the shadows."

Matthew would step up beside her and stand beside her as they chanted, "For the people, by the people!." 

Ser Cecil Halcourt would chime up after the speech was concluded. "The Curon Loyalist League political party shall be supporting and running Matthew de Cantwell's bid for mayorship. There will be a fundraiser at the Cyrilsburg Great Hall later this year! Free food and drink will be provided."

‘City of Cyrilsburg a month after the First Mayoral Election’

The Mayor, Ser Sylvester III,  would step on top of the crate looking at his fellow Curonians.

"People of Curon, as we all know my term has come to an end. So, with this, I say to you that I have made my decision of the who I will fully support, and that’d be my Deputy Mayor Veres Draskovits as he has helped me provide people with houses, and helped create a strong team for the Cyrilsburg Municipal Government for our people. Thus I ask those who supported me if they wish or chose to support Veres on his journey, and his path for Mayor."

"Stephanos, you speak as if we didn’t do anything for this nation to persuade voters, and I find it pretty pathetic.. many people in Cyrilsburg know we have offices as well and have tried to put as many people in houses as much as possible, so I beg of you learn more about what's going on in the city first before running."

"Now, at the end of the election, and end of my term I shall make a document of approval of the newly elected Mayor. Thank you."

Ser Sylvester III would wave at the people before stepping off the crate walking back into his office.

  A man can be seen in the tavern, slowly drinking his cup of tea and talking with the citizens who are sitting around him. With a soft and warm smile he stands up, raising his hands on the air and clears his throat before he began to talk. “My good and fellow citizens, I live here in Cyrilsburg for at least ten years. It seems as if it was only yesterday when the late Duke of Curon, Karl I found me wandering around the outskirts of the city. He took me in his court, gave me new clothing, fed me, recognized my origins and my House’s suppport to House Staunton. His kindness forgave my father’s crime, allowing me to work for the best of Curon. I still remember my first task, however I am not here to talk about it. Years have passed since then, however due to poor Mayoral administration the once Glorious city now shrinks into darkness.

Issues:

I) Bandits roaming around the city.

II) Poor administration.

III) Jobless people.

IV) Migrants.

V) Lack of offices.

  I listed some of the issues that downgrades our glorious Capital. During the last two to three years numerous groups of bandits usually step foot in our City. Two things are happening, a) Either the gates are open and no guard is around to do his duty and they simply come in, or b) the guards who are in duty let them in and only moments later they end up beaten. How am I going to change that? I wish to see a stronger Town Watch. A Town Watch able to protect our beloved citizens, able to guard the gates. In order to have an efficient Town Watch, we need a captain fit for service, a captain with experience who can train the recruits according to our new criteria which I will enforce as Mayor. For your safety is valuable and priceless, you will no longer fear to walk around the city or spend time in the tavern.

  The population is growing in rather fast rate. When I walk around I often see people searching for a house to live, but there are none. The current Mayor has not constructed any house lately, which troubles me because our youth is moving away. They seek for a better future, in cities which can provide housing and a job for them. Sadly, Cirylsburg has neither at the moment with only a few, small and outdated houses which are inhabitant for safety reasons. Jobs are also not provided, people tend to beg for a living which is rather sad, and does not fit in a great City. As Mayor, I can construct more and better quality houses for our fellow citizens, there is much landscape within the walls which is unused. Having a productive and effective communication with the stewards would lower the rates of unemployment, jobs in the farmlands will be recreated, loans will be given to merchants in order to start their own companies.

  After the war and the fall of Haense, huge waves of migrants arrived in our doorstep. The poor souls who have suffered a lot because of the war are stacked on our streets, waiting for mercy in order to start over their lives again. The current Mayor hasn’t done much about them, leaving them in poverty and with no medical care. These poor souls are waiting for their camp to be constructed so they can pretend they live a normal life. I say no, no camps are needed but a small self-functional village instead. Do not forhet, they were our close allies during the war and they deserve better.

  Last and not least, it has come to my knowledge that no offices have been created. Said offices are essential for Cyrilsburg.

List of Offices:

I) The Farmers’ Office.

II) The Town Guard’s Office.

III) The Stewards’ Office.

  Each Office will be responsible for the people assigned in. For example, the Farmers’ Office will be responsible for the proper growth of our farmers, having too many farmers, or too few it usually ends up with miscommunication and less food is provided to the citizens, the Office will also receive any kind of complaintments, if any occurs.

  The Town Guard’s Office will be responsible for our Guard’s payment, keeping our Guard fully equipped. It will also receive any kind of complaintments again, if any occurs.

  The Stewards’ Office will be responsible mostly for the taxes, infrastructure of our City and create enjoyable events, such as fairs or festivals. Once again, they will be taking any kind of complaintments, if any occurs.”

The man pauses, breathing in and out. He lowers his right hand and continues talking, “Vote for Stephanos Palaiologos, for a safer and better Cyrilsburg!”

"Fellow Curonians, I follow this mayoral election as my father started it. I wish to keep Curon Great, preserve the union that we are in and promote the military and the church, as he did. Once again, women need a better standing in Curon, and I also promote the carry of self defense items on a person. We have a refugee problem, our allies of Haense need homes and we should provide for them! God has a special place for us Curonians, and we shall not be destroyed by quarrels of raiders, we shall stand with our shields high, our swords sharpened, and our armour ready for a beating. Let's Keep Curon Great!"

We ask all the electorate in the Principality of Curon to duly and properly elect the Mayor of Cyrilsburg from among those candidates who have thus far declared their candidacy. The Mayor shall, upon his election, assume the office and begin to immediately implement necessary reforms in the city. He shall serve as chief executive officer of the Cyrilsburg Municipal Government, leading the stewardry and other local officials, under the oversight of the Chancellor.

The election is to begin today. All those who vote will be catalogued and checked against existent records. To qualify to vote, one must not necessarily own land, but they must have an active presence in the Principality. The Prince and the Chancellor shall investigate all votes, and ensure there is no voter fraud. In three Saint’s Days, a winner shall be announced. A ceremony shall be held wherein His Excellency the Mayor assumes office, and a celebration will commence posthaste.  [The event will occur Saturday 03/10/2018 @ 5 PM EST]

"Friends, I am delivering you my last speech before the polls close. I reassure you that I wish to serve the people of Curon as I serve my family. I recently dealt with the assassin of Lotte Baptiste, saved the Princess Esme of Curon, and fought off dwarven raiders with the good men of Haense and our Curonian Brigadiers. Many of you see me as a power hungry fool, but I only wish to serve the people for three years before stepping down and allowing the second election to start, weather this is a precedent if I win or not, I will still do so if I run again. The people of Cyrilsburg need a strong leader, and I wish to be that supporting gauntlet. Please, if you wish for a strong, safe Curon, vote for Ajax Ironwood. God Bless and Ave Curon."

A month has passed, as the citizens of Cyrilsburg begins to gather around in Main Street

People of Cyrilsburg, after this month of the election I've heard that the race is closer than you all think. As with that, I have something to tell to those who still haven’t decided.

Those of you who haven’t decided, I want to ask you do you really want one person to have gain more power than he already has?, do you as a citizen of Cyrilsburg want to be possibly looked over?.

I come to ask for many of you to vote for what’s right for our people, and I know many of our citizens are conscripted into the military but it’s best that all of our citizens know how to defend...themselves from harm.

I come to you citizens that I look to bring a re-establishment within our taxes as well as a few tax cuts, bring our military into homes of their own, evict those who have left, build stalls for merchants, and finally re-establish what we once had as a growing population. What I mean by that is, I want to re-establish the events we once had within Curon like masses, festivals, tournaments, and so on so forth.

I come to you people of Cyrilsburg that in the next following months of this election you choose what’s best not for yourself but for this great community we have here in Curon, Thank you.

"Friends! I speak to you as a friend and brother of Curon! I wish you all well and a good time in church! I know you all wished to see me make radical changes, but I tell you this, my tax plan will be Huge, babe, I tell you. I know what some of you are thinking, "Ajax, you are already Marshal, that's not fair!" Well I tell you, our Prince holds the most military power in Curon, not I. I want you to know, women are not respected in our glorious nation, without women men cannot survive! Women under my city will be respected and will have job opportunities! I will usher in new jobs and tax cuts; Curon needs to will itself up with these ideas to be strong! Our military, I love you all, brothers, will grow strong and powerful, our market will be filled with buyers and sellers, we shall have fun times in our taverns together as brothers and sisters, equal in opportunities! I call all of you for my vote, and I in turn will give you all what you deserve, I'm no nobleman, just a man of the people! Let's make Curon great like it was when our first duke Karl started it with just the Great hall and tents, a community of close people together and wanting more! Let's Make Curon Great Again!"

Sylvestre III would begin to walk on a platform looking at his supports giving them a wave before he’d begin.

As many of you know the election for Mayor has begun. I would like to ask for your full support in my undertaking.

In the coming month,  the city of Curon will once again step up to the task of choosing a leader to guide it through the next month. As a citizen of Curon, I want what is best for this great city and to see us grow and prosper.

Most importantly, we need someone who will exhibit leadership and fortitude to revive what we once had and to take the mantle as the Mayor of this city. I have spent a lot of time in this town, walking its streets and talking to its people. I know that many of you feel as I do realize what we need to do. It's a duty that can be harnessed only with the reins of dedicated leadership and visionary talent.

I say this because I have that leadership and talent. Many times I have found myself disappointed by our absentee leadership within the Stewards of Curon. I have seen those who say they know what is best for Curon to stand up and take the initiative. We haven't received any city reports and our last mayor seems to have not made sure that his council will continue until a new Mayor is present.

If you should entrust me with the great responsibility of strengthening our community I pledge to set up a few reports that will give updates, and bring events in Curon. I will work closely with the Stewards I’ll choose who will support my visions and ensure that we always have the resources we need to better this city. We can strengthen our community as we all would work together to accomplish the goals, and visions that we all have for our great nation.

It is my sincere hope that you will consider me for your Mayor. I will break my back to do everything I can for Curon and for you. I come to you hoping that you’d stand by me and help me gain wealth for the people along with our nation to help us prosper. As ‘With Wealth Comes Prosperity.’ Thank you..”

Sylvestre would gather the people of Cyrilsburg in the square, as they waited a while Sylvestre would show up as he'd begin to look around.

“People of Curon as many of you know, I’m Sylvestre III of House Halcourt, one of the founders of Curon, and grandson of Sylvestre II, the Archchancellor of Curon, I like to say that I come before you as we all know that some strong men of Curon seek to become Mayor of this great nation.

Sylvestre would begin to pace back in forth for a moment before looking back at the people.

"I come to show you that we’ve always been a great nation unlike what Ajax has mentioned. I come to you people of Curon that the Stewards of Curon has been in terrible shape since von Croé left us! I come to ensure you that this Principality will grow not as a nation but as a family! I come to you in hope of this city will flourish more than ever! I come to you....”

Sylvestre would raise his fist in the air.

I come to you people of Curon, to say I WILL BE RUNNING FOR MAYOR, AS WITH WEALTH COMES PROSPERITY!

Good evening, good people of Cyrilsburg. I am Claudas Augustus Vimmark, a man who has be a part of the makeup of Curon since the first days of settlement on this continent of Atlas. Continually, our good country has grown and experienced great diversity and transformation as the years have gone on. It was a balanced decision that I made to run for Mayor of Cyrilsburg, based on the foundations that a new day is on the horizon. We only must look beyond our walls and borders to the familiar human bastions to understand the dire situation that our people find ourselves in. As Mayor, I promise that every man and woman will be a compulsory cog of our nation’s drive forward! The faucets of society are to be improved through my governance, by introducing new policies that will enhance the opportunity of the labourer, protect the commercial retailer, and encourage women and minorities to engage in the livelihood that is our societal business. The machinations of the politicians of Curon will be debated and argued within our square, and the people will have the chance to stand behind their podium of public freedom, and say what they must say. Throughout my time of service in Curon, I have noticed the continual progressions of bandit peoples against our city. As Mayor, I will ensure that our funds are being put into the protection and upgrades of the fortifications and defences of our city. Furthermore, as Mayor, I would push structural reform for the legal system in current place. All men and women of Curon society will have the right to be provided with a lawyer by the national firm. The people of Curon will have the protection and freedom they are righted to. If I reach office, I will form a council that will have seats delegated to the common people, man and woman. It is the people that make up our country, and it is the people who will lead these critical charges and campaigns of growth and reform! No man or woman will feel oppressed in our city again. No man or woman will have their voices drowned out. Our country will charge with fire in her belly! My campaign is one of fervour and passion; not for the prestige or desire to occupy an office as the other candidates may have want to do. A new day is on the horizon, for all the peoples of Curon. We will not fall into complacency with a form that does not occupy the constituional rights of our denizens! That is all, ladies and gentlemen.

"Friends, Curonians, Countrymen, lend me your ears; Today I wish to establish this city in our humble Principality as being great. I call you all to see a fellow citizen and war hero stride to protect you, I wish to make Curon Great Again, as it was in the years of yore, when Karl was still Duke. I call you today, not as citizens and tax payers, but as brothers and sisters! Taxes will be reduced; I will make sure as Captain of the Brigade that raises and payments installed for ranks; and I will make sure Curon is Great! Our Canonist beliefs are at risk! We need to ensure that everyone is a Canonist if they affiliate with Religion, or simply remain silent; Don't ask, Don't tell. I call you, if I am elected I will host a tournament in the name of our Prince, Alfred! Now, brothers and sisters, we can make Curon great again! Let's Make Curon Great Again!"

He somehow lowers himself off the roof and plasters a MCGA Slogan around the town, and hopes to sell hats with Make Curon Great Again on them as well

"Gross misconduct, I would damn myself to say! Why, they never tried my barbecue ribs, they have never had me mix them a drink!" The man wailed as he whipped his head back. "How were they to know what great fortunes my family could bring them before I happened upon this place..."

As one of his servants danced without a hint of joy, tired of the Aeldenic bagpipe tunes, impoverished folks from as far as the city slums began to file into the tavern...

"Imagine - happy hours every week! Folks far and near would be able to step in and gaze upon a fine, fat swine spinning over a fire! Mead so damn sweet, the butchers would have triple the work removing teeth alone! My man what a great show I could put on, alas, here I sit, drunk in a tavern that is no longer an Estermont establishment. Bah!"

Soon the young man's tab was run up to the Seven Skies - but here now sat an audience, beholden to this man. From the back of the line nearest the Estermont boy, a thick necked sheep herder looked to him and offered an encouraging plaque stained smile that almost glowed yellow at the words of the young man!

"Mark my words, I, Rodric 'Hot Rod' Estermont, shall find the Chief Imbecile or whomever stripped from me my right to drink for free and pound his jaw in so thoroughly, his overbite will have him looking like a bird!"

War weary peasants cheered at the violent and vulgar outburst as they drank away the woes of Renatian raids. Finally, obscured by the crowd, a cheeky young lad would holler, "Why don't you just run for Chief Imbecile and just take it back?! We are having our mayoral election soon!"

So thoroughly tinged was the drunk Estermont's pride that he shot up from his seat, startling some of the closer onlookers now! "If I can, then I shall! You good people would be entitled to a government subsidized drink after each work day if so, I would host beauty pageant's galore, and by GOD there would be so much revenue running through Cyrilsburg that the moat would be made of molten GOLD!"

Onlookers cheered at the fantastical claims, beginning now to chant drunkenly for this unlikely candidate!

"HOT ROD, HOT ROD, HOT ROD!"

Chugging his drink, he would slam down his empty tankard and offer a mighty pelvic thrust, "Let's see the city deny this!"

Ensuing calamity would see the tavern closed early and many rabble-rousers in the streets, but amongst those who did not drink all memory of the night away were the first supporters of Rodric.  Many cases would be made for the newcomers sudden bid for mayor; Some were fantastical, others were completely nonsense - but all came from excited lips.
